Bobbi Kristina Brown's relationship with Nick Gordon continues to come under scrutiny as she clings to life and her family prays for a miracle in an Atlanta hospital.
Was she planning to leave her self-professed husband before the tragic medical emergency she suffered January 31, from which she has not recovered?
Newly emerged details paint the relationship of Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon as chaotic, destructive and perhaps even physically combative.
A man who allegedly went to school with Brown and has remained close to her says she was in the throes of a “a tragic downward spiral” recently.
In one disturbing revelation, the man said that he, Brown and Nick Gordon smoked crack together at a friend’s birthday party in a Roswell, Georgia, park.
As the party was winding down, the three hopped into Brown’s car near the park “and lit up a crack pipe,” he claims. “Nick’s just as bad,” said the man.
“They’ve been in this self-destructive cycle for a long, long time,” he says of Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon, now the subject of a criminal investigation.
The supposed insider also said Gordon recently began sleeping in a separate bedroom because of his tumultuous and frequent fighting with Bobbi Kristina.
Cops were called to their home January 23 over a reported fight at their residence, but no one was there when officers arrived and no charges were filed.
Fulton County dispatch records reveal a 911 call from a security guard at Brown’s gated community reporting people “hitting each other and swinging.”
A week later, she was found face down in the bathtub with facial injuries that have piqued police interest. She remains in a medically induced coma.
The man said: “The Wednesday before [Krissi was found], she texted a friend of mine, saying, ‘I don’t think things between me and Nick are working out.'”
Bobbi Kristina, 21, could be taken off life support at any time, as her recovery appears unlikely (her father Bobby Brown is holding out hope, however).
Gordon, 28, has remained under a cloud of suspicion from the police and public alike ever since Brown was found unconscious by the duo's friend, Max Lomas.
Police Chief Rusty Grant was quick to point out that “criminal investigations may or may not result in criminal charges being brought against individuals.”
