Tragically, the prognosis is as bad as it gets for Bobbi Kristina Brown.
Despite an earlier report that Brown opened her eyes inside a Georgia hospital yesterday, doctors have allegedly told loved ones that the outlook is grim.
There's little they can do to save her life, according to Fox News.
"It's now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she's pretty much not going to make it," an insider said of the 21-year-old.
As Whitney Houston's only child remains in a coma, her "[physicians] have left it up to the family as to how long they want to keep her alive."
Bobbi Kristina was found by a friend and her estranged husband Nick Gordon last Saturday morning, lying face down in a bathtub after falling unconscious.
Paramedics were called, and she was immediately taken to a hospital and placed in a medically-induced coma, from which she is unlikely to recover.
No word yet on what caused Bobbi Kristina to collapse, though drugs were reportedly found at the scene and she does have a history of substance abuse.
Moreover, it has been widely reported that the "friend" who helped Gordon revive Brown inside her home was Max Lomas, an alleged drug dealer.
He has denied any kind of wrongdoing, however.
Bobbi Kristina's father Bobby Brown, meanwhile, has rushed to be by his daughter's hospital bedside in the wake of this terrible turn of events.
The two are not especially close, but the singer is all the family Bobbi Kristina has after the tragic death of her mother nearly three years ago.
In an eerie coincidence, the late, great Whitney Houston was found dead in a bathtub nearly three years ago to the day that her child passed out.
The iconic artist died on February 11, 2012 from a drug overdose at the Beverly Hills Hotel. We hope against hope that Bobbi will pull through.
