Photos of a toothless Tiger Woods cheering on girlfriend Lindsey Vonn overshadowed the skiing champion setting a record in her sport in Italy on Monday.
Vonn broke Annemarie Moser-Proell's 35-year-old mark of 62 World Cup wins with a victory in the Super-G, but Tiger's broken tooth made even more news ...
Photos of a toothless Tiger rooting on Lindsey sparked rampant speculation as to when and how the 39-year-old golf great underwent this dental ... incident?
The celebrity gossip world was so interested in this topic that Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, even addressed it, saying it occurred at this very event.
"During a crush of photographers at the podium, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera pushed and surged towards the stage," he said.
It was that camera, Steinberg claims, that "turned and hit Tiger Woods in the mouth," and as a result, "Woods's tooth was knocked out by the incident."
Maybe so, but had it been knocked out once before?
The N.Y. Post says the now-missing Tiger Woods tooth can be seen in earlier photos looking slightly discolored, a reported result of a 2009 incident.
According to legend, Elin hurled a phone at him after finding out he was unfaithful, then chased him out of their Florida mansion wielding a golf club.
Groggy from prescription medication, Woods crashed his Escalade into a tree, mistresses galore crawled out of the woodwork and the rest is history.
In any case, seeing him yesterday, gap-toothed or not, "was an amazing surprise," Lindsey Vonn told the media later. 'I'm so happy that he's here."
"Everyone important to me is here - my mom and dad and my sister and Tiger - it's pretty incredible. I didn't think it was going to get better than yesterday, and today topped it."
True love. It runs much deeper than a busted grill.
