Sunday marked a big day for The CW.
At the 2015 Golden Globes, Gina Rodriguez actually took home the trophy for Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical.
This major acknowledgement came a couple hours after the network announced eight (yes, eight!!!) show renewals for the 2014-2015 season.
Did your favorite series make the cut? These are the dramas (with upcoming seasons in parenthesis) that will be running it back this fall and beyond on The CW...
Arrow (Season 4).
Jane the Virgin (Season 2).
Reign (Season 3).
Supernatural (Season 11).
The 100 (Season 3).
The Flash (Season 2).
The Originals (Season 3).
The Vampire Diaries (Season 7).
Said CW President Mark Pedowitz upon confirming this exciting news:
"Each of these series have helped define what The CW is today, a network that is home to smart, provocative, quality programming, targeting a savvy adult audience.
"By picking up these shows now, our executive producers can start planning next season’s storylines, and rolling these shows out throughout next season guarantees The CW will have more proven original series for our fall, midseason and summer 2016 line-up."
So, which shows were left out of the renewal announcement? Let's just say fans of Beauty and the Beast and Hart of Dixie ought to enjoy new episodes while they can.
