The Bachelor Stars Ranked By Relationship Length: Who's Still Together? Who Fizzled Fastest?

by at .  Updated at .

Chris Soules recently became the 19th man to star as The Bachelor, a dating show without much of a track record when it comes to making love last.

The Bachelorette, ABC's spinoff which flips the script and has the leading lady doling out the roses, has been through 10 seasons, faring slightly better.

Yes, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray broke up this month, but their predecessors Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried married within the same week.

Desiree and Ashley Hebert give The Bachelorette two marriages in four seasons, and join Trista Sutter (nee Rehn), who also married her final rose recipient.

Besides Trista, almost all of the show's early romances were ill-fated. Some lasted a relatively decent amount of time, while others fizzled very, very fast.

In that respect, the bar is not set very high for Chris Soules and his final pick (check out The Bachelor spoilers to find out who that supposedly will be).

From Brad Womack striking out not once, but twice, to Juan Pablo Galavis becoming the biggest douche in franchise history, expectations are low.

Pre-Jason Mesnick and Sean Lowe, The Bachelor offered no success stories at all. Can Chris keep up the (relative) hot streak in his "journey" this winter?

The Bachelor Quotes

There’s still a lot of growing to do in our relationship. We will not tie the knot until I am mentally and physically prepared as well as Matt.

Shayne Lamas

It was a fairytale proposal like I’ve always dreamed about. I forgot that there [were] cameras around. In that moment, it was just Matt and I and it was the most amazing moment of my entire life.
