Following the record-breaking box office performance of American Sniper last weekend, several stars shared their opinions on the film's controversial subject matter.
Filmmaker and activist Michael Moore stated he'd been taught snipers were cowards, leading many to believe he intended to tarnish the legacy of Chris Kyle, the real-life Navy SEAL on whom the movie was based.
Seth Rogen joked that Sniper reminded him of Nation's Pride - a fictional Nazi propaganda film featured in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.
In both cases, the public response was swift and harsh, and both men were bombarded with angry tweets, many of them threatening physical violence.
Of course, no patriotically violent mob would be complete without the presence of Kid Rock, who jumped on board the bandwagon of hate today by firing some truly bizarre shots at both Moore and Rogen.
"F-ck you Michael Moore, you're a piece of sh-t and your uncle would be ashamed of you," Mr. Rock wrote on his personal website. "Seth Rogen, your uncle probably molested you. I hope both of you catch a fist to the face."
Say what you will about the "Bawitdaba" tunesmith, the man does not mince words. His words don't always make sense (See: "Bawitdaba") but he's not gonna let that stop him!
These latest comments are actually pretty tame compared to what the singer's been up to lately.
The now-famous "Kid Rock homophobic slur" interview of last week taught us all that - like his career - Kid's maturity level froze about 20 years ago.
