If you're one of the millions of fans who follows Kylie Jenner's Instagram page, then you already know the reality star is the proud new owner of a greyhound puppy named Norman.
"Dreams do come true," Kylie captioned the above photo of Norman that she posted on Christmas morning. She's since posted several other pics of the pup snoozing or basking in the sun.
Sounds like the first flush of new-puppy love, right?
Well, unfortunately sources say Kylie's affection for her new BFF does not extend to training, cleaning up after, or even staying home to spend time with the little guy.
"Kylie just got this dog for Christmas and she is already pawning him off on her sisters so that she can go out," a source tells Radar Online.
"[Kylie] got upset one night because she had to stay home with him. Her family thinks it was a really bad call to get her this dog, because she can barely take care of herself. But she insisted that she had to have it."
"Sometimes having a dog can actually make someone more responsible, and they are hoping that is the case."
The source claims the Kardashians have a history of negligent pet ownership, and cites Jackson - an Australian shepherd mix that Kendall and Kylie rescued in 2012 - as an example.
The puppy disappeared from the girls' social media pages just weeks after adoption and hasn't been seen publicly since. The theory is that it was given to a new home after the girls refused to care for it.
Kylie's parents had reportedly hoped she would behave differently this time but are already seeking out alternative caregivers.
Yes, it looks as though Kylie's love for Tyga is continuing to interfere with her spending time with any actual animals.
