Jill Duggar and husband Derick Dillard hosted a dinner party for her sister Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald this week, posting a photo of the double date on Instagram.
Might this have been designed to quiet the latest controversy supposedly surrounding the famous family? Difficult hard to say, but here's the shot of the fab four at dinner ...
Rumors of a Jill Duggar-Jessa Duggar feud have been running rampant this week, but that story is either B.S. or causing them to go into damage control mode.
"@jessaseewald and @ben_seewald are here for dinner!" the second eldest Duggar daughter wrote. "So fun to hang out with our siblings! #familydinner #19kids #beansandcornbread."
Yeah. We're guessing the feud is bogus.
You don't have someone over for #beansandcornbread and overuse hashtags like it's your job when you can't stand the people, do you? No. No you don't.
The couples also attended a Christmas recital at her parents' Arkansas home. "Christmas recital at my family's home this evening!" Jill wrote alongside a photo.
"I [love] christmas time!"
The supposed rift between the Dillards and Seewalds was reported after it was recently revealed that Jill was no longer following Jessa on Twitter.
Seriously, that's the entire root of the alleged fight. Perhaps, just maybe, the social media and celebrity gossip loving world is reading a bit too much into it.
Jessa Duggar, 22, or Jill Duggar, 23, have confirmed or denied any beef, but the two have remained steadfast in sharing their faith with their Instagram followers.
"Forget what lies behind," Jessa wrote, citing an underlined passage from Philippians 3:12-15. "Strain forward to what lies ahead. Press on toward the goal for the prize!"
That goal is most likely Ben getting Jessa Duggar pregnant as soon as possible. They've been married like a month and a half. What's taking so long?!
As always, you can watch 19 Kids and Counting online and relive both Jessa's and Jill's respective roads to the altar in 2014. What a year it's been.
