Monday night on the quietly prolific reality TV network known as VH1, Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Season 1 Episode 6 taught us a number of valuable lessons.
The key takeaway from Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Season 1 Episode 6 was Teairra Mari deciding to hold a showcase in order to prove that she’s serious.
About getting back to work, that is. Not just stirring up drama.
Teairra's music career is harder to remember than her name is to spell. Put another way, it's hard to remember when she last had a hit, or if she ever did.
What she wants to do is change that, although club promoter Sincere offers this same opinion of her musical comeback and the clash of egos is pretty epic.
Then we have the love triangle starring Mally Mall, Masika and Nikki Baby, whose first two meetings to resolve tensions over this loser ended in fights.
Like actual, physical fights that had to be broken up. Insane.
This time around, are things any different? It's not clear, but Nikki receives a few pieces of information that seem to resonate, for the first time in her life.
She teams up with her mother, with Mally Mall, none the wiser, and confront him with so many hard questions that he doesn't even know what to do.
In such cases, during an ambush of this kind of firepower, sometimes all a player can do is throw on the sunglasses and peace out the nearest available exit.
Works every time ... and she'll probably crawl back someday.
Meanwhile, Fizz and Omarion commiserate about the women in their lives, and their kids and how other women being around will impact them.
Omarion wonders if he is looking for a “main chick” these days or a mother for his son, and Fizz wonders if he can really trust Amanda in this vein.
Fizz, the former B2K member, finds himself in a tough position with his girl, who once kept a separate apartment so she could mess around on him.
How do you even stay with someone after that, Omarion asks.
Finally, the tension is palpable once more for Ray J and his assistant Morgan, and not just because of the Princess Love sex tape that is out there.
Ray is hosting Power 106‘s concert event, and Morgan is asked to do correspondent work for the radio station as well, which Ray isn’t happy about.
He confronts his assistant again, and fires her on the spot.
What did you think of this latest installment? Will the roller coaster that is Ray's life ever stop? And does Teairra have any chance to be a hip hop star again?
