Khloe Kardashian Dons Native American Headdress, Sparks Outrage Online

Khloe Kardashian helped celebrated her niece's first birthday yesterday by attending what the Kardashians adorably annoyingly titled "Kidchella."

But the reality star quickly shifted the focus off North West and on to herself via the following Instagram photo:

Khloe Kardashian as a Native American

"Ray of clouds. Chirping of birds. Gurgling of water. Granting desire. One with water. #Kidchella my first Coachella!!!” Khloe wrote as a caption to a shot of her posing with Kylie Jenner and a friend.

While donning a Native American headdress, of course.

The outfit sparked immediate outrage online, with one follower writing:

"Are you for real? Yet another celebrity wearing headdress... when is this world going to realize that headdresses are not for costume, but there represent a people with a proud past and only respected individuals from plains tribes wear headdresses you have to earn that right!"

Another added:

"This makes me sad… headdresses are worn by warriors for honor and never for dress up. My culture is important to me and should not be made fun of. Being an American Indian, this offends me and it is offensive. We are a people not a stereotype."

This isn't the first (or second) time Khloe has stirred up controversy via Instagram.

Remember when she dressed as a sheep and held a gun?
