It's beginning to look like Miley Cyrus will remain hospitalized for the foreseeable future - and while the cause of the singer's sudden illness is open to debate, one thing remains certain:
Miley is not happy to be laid up.
We already know that Miley is "miserable" in the hospital, thanks to her very frequent Twitter updates, but more recent tweets seem to suggest that her frustration and disappointment at missing tour dates may be spiraling into full-blown depression.
"Can't quit crying," Miley tweeted this morning. "I wanna go back on tour. I'm meant to be onstage performing for y'all...not laying in a hospital bed."
Miley's reps report that she's suffering from a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics that she took to control a sinus infection.
Cyrus says she hopes to be back to full strength in time for tomorrow's show in Nashville, but her publicist is managing fan expectations by pointing out that such reactions can last for up to four weeks.
Some sources have speculated that the hospitalization is the result of a bender sparked by the death of Miley's dog.
Miley and her camp, of course, deny these rumors, saying that the singer's health problems are just the latest misfortunes in a string of blameless bad luck.
