She went on to become one of the polished and elegant women in the entire world, but Kate Middleton was once a poor flower girl with a thick cockney accent.
Well, at least she played one in a musical back in the day. WAY back in the day.
New footage from her 1993 grade school play, My Fair Lady, has surfaced, featuring the now 32-year-old Duchess in the lead role of Eliza Doolittle.

The video shows a young Kate learning how to be upright citizen with the help of Professor Henry Higgins in an adaptation of the hit 1956 musical.
Based on a George Bernard Shaw play, Pygmalion, My Fair Lady was later turned into the famed 1964 film adaptation starring Audrey Hepburn.
It's not clear how long Kate's acting career lasted, but she did do a bit of modeling at the University of St. Andrews, where she met Prince William.
