Ozzy Osbourne would like to set a couple records straight.
In response to rumors that he and wife Sharon Osbourne have separated, the wobbly rocker took the Facebook yesterday and first wrote:
“For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place and was an a–– to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober.”

Seeming to acknowledge that he and The Talk co-host are taking time apart, Ozzy was as clear as he could be about their future:
“Sharon and I are not divorcing,” he wrote. “I’m just trying to be a better person.”
Osbourne, 64, also sent a message of regret to his loved ones, concluding:
“I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behavior during this period. And [to] my fans.”
We wish Ozzy a full and healthy recovery.
