The Fierce Five – Gabby Douglas, 16, McKayla Maroney, 16, Kyla Ross, 15, Jordyn Wieber, 17, and Aly Raisman, 18 – appeared at the MTV VMAs last night.

One of America’s gymnastics golden girls in particular made her presence felt, however, during Alicia Keys’ performance of “Girl on Fire” late in the show.

Midway through the song, Nicki Minaj appeared on stage to perform her verse, which included a shout-out to Douglas, who then tumbled onto the stage!

Nicki Minaj rapped: “Took me on the balcony, telling me to jump with her / Yeah, I’m in the ghost but I ain’t doing stunts with her / I ain’t trying to be that, haters want to see that / But I got ’em aggy, cause I win the gold like Gabby.”

Cue Gabby!

Douglas strutted past Keys and performing a series of cartwheels, jumps and back hand springs, flashing her million-dollar smile and high-fiving Keys as she left.

Talk about making an entrance and an exit. The lame Russian judge probably found some obscure reason to deduct points, but we’d give Gabby a perfect 10.

Our only regret? That she didn’t do this for every artist. The Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz MTV performance really could’ve used a little gymnastics flair.
