In his first interview since splitting from Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony has spoken out and expressed nothing but affection for his ex.
"I'll always love Jennifer," Anthony tells ABC News in an interview that will air tomorrow night. "I'll tell you that it wasn't something sensationalistic happening. It was a realization on both our parts... These things happen. It was a decision that we made jointly."
The platinum-selling artist has said very little since he and Lopez announced their divorce. In a Vanity Fair article a few weeks ago, J. Lo said "I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer. We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. Together we could make magic - and we did. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children."
Rumors have also swirled around Anthony and Jada Pinkett Smith, though no hard evidence exists linking these HawthoRNe co-stars romantically.
"This is not a funeral. This is not a burial," Marc said. "This is just two people who came together and just realized. . . I'm saying that it wasn't sustainable the way it was, and that's that."
