Frankly this is how I see it. If Viagra was on the line, men would be going nuts. If men could have babies, abortion clinics would be as popular as McDonalds. There's a double standard for everything. Guys can have sex with a ton of girls and then be considered a man. If girls have sex with a ton of guys then they are considered sluts. So is the equality there... no. Women are still not being treated equally. Plus people also need to realize that birth control isn't soley used for pregnancy prevention, but it can also be used to regulate periods, hormone imbalances, and has been proven to provide for a safer reproductive systems. This rant sounds like Rush Limbaugh is ticked that he hasn't gotten any in a while...

Hey Gary - we didn't do fine at all! The world is terribly overpopulated if you hadn't noticed! It saddens me that anyone could listen to all of that jibber-jabber by some blubbering idiot and agree with it!

That's all fine and good, but condoms are not as effective as birth control in preventing pregnancies.....plus I would much rather pay for others people's birth control than pay for thier children for 18 years including WIC, foodstamps and god knows what else.

I am supporting Rush Limbaugh - he is the only person who is not afraid to say what he thinks - Birth Control - hormone medication is a necessity for some medical conditions but this woman sounded like she wanted free sex. Prior to the 1960's there were no birth control pills and we did just fine. What happened to our morals?

I totally agree with Rush

Having listened to this entire clip, I see nothing wrong with his logic. I also looked up Ms. Fluke's testimony. Ms. Fluke claimed it cost her and her fellow law students $3000 over their law school tenure. She claims her classmates "suffer financially, medically, and emotionally" due to the failure of Georgetowwn to pay for their contraception and that "40% struggle financially as a result of [this]."

Really?? I suggest you listen to her own words to see who is out of line.

I'm not a big fan of Rush Limbaugh or his humor, but I thought his bit was funny. He does not "go off on birth control" as is claimed. He was specifically questioning Ms. Fluke's claim of the $3000 cost of contraception.

Having listened to both "testimonies" (from Fluke and Limbaugh), she was clearly exaggerating her claims and he responded with an exaggeration of his own.

The difference is, he was pretending to be funny. She was pretending to be serious.

I dont think we should have to pay for somebody else's birth control either. If you dont want to get pregnant dont have sex if you cant afford birth control Go get em Rush

Dawn,
If you listened to this entire clip, please justify you statement calling Rush an idiot. Educate me with your breath of knowledge. Are you suggesting a person should not be personally responsible for you personal cost of contraception?

I agree that he was seriously missguided making derogory remarks about the your law student, despite her commentary on needing to control the cost of sexual contraceptives to be burdened by taxpayers and insurers.

Not only do I now know Rush is truly an idiot, but I'm banning all the company's that support this big ass!
