Angela, It didn't take her 12 years to file the lawsuit. The song was written and copyrighted 12 years ago. But you can't file a lawsuit unless someone infringes on your copyright. The lawsuit was filed in August just 2 1/2 months after the Born This Way album was released (May 2011).

I listened to a sample Juda on iTunes. Not even the concept of the song is similar. Though I'm sure Rebecca is happy that some are downloading her song.

Not even close. I've heard dozens of musical ripoffs in my 30+years of pro work in the music business. This isn't one of them.
