I don't see how that commercial is racist. Its just a bad commercial. I think Mary J and BK were embarassed by how poorly it came off and they pulled it.

I am a Black woman and I see nothing wrong with this commercial. I am not a big fan Of Mary J, only because I am not a fan of secular music, however I see no reason for an apology nor the comercial pulled. I agree, time is out for many Black/White issues because they are not real issues. Looking at it from another spectrum, had a White woman done the commercial and Mary J was skipped over, that would have been an unfounded issue also. Don't get me wrong, there are some (a lot of)Black/White issues that need to be addressed, but it will be benificial to all of us if we were to pick our battles wisely and don't sweat the small stuff!

Nothing wrong with this commercial, I love her singing! The Wrap looks really good too... Nothing racial about this, she didn't know she was singing about a chicken wrap? WTF After all this crap I hope they didn't pay her! Burger King is buying into the ridiculousness by pulling the commercial... Sad Sad use of the Race Card!

Bob, what you said makes no sense. White people aren't caricatured as big lipped, blacked skinned, dim-witted demons munching lazily on chicken and watermelon, so who cares if you eat them? Anyway, Burger King shouldn't apologize for this commercial being racist. I don't think it is. Burger King should apologize for this commercial being awful.

Racist? Did you see the old fat white guy dancing in the foreground?
