   Lauren is, without a doubt, one of the most soulful and genuine and beautiful singers in this year's American Idol. Unfortunately, the producers (who are the real judges on AI), felt like they, again, needed to pander to Middle-America and load up on country singers. This is why this show is contrived and, yes, superficial in the end. There are clearly some talented singers left, but they just lost one of the best. But don't sweat Lauren - she'll be just fine with that soul and that voice.
   
   Good luck, Lauren. You are something extraordinary - apparently just too much so for an increasingly ordinary show...

   Is idol crazy. They more than likely don't care what we the viewing public like. I realize it's a tough job,but i just don't get this. Now i see they are bringing back a guy and not her. This is crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I think i'll watch the Voice.

   WHAT!? How could she not make the top 24. Lauren Gray is easily one of the top 5 contestants on Idol this year. Did something happen we don't know about?

   Judges, are you beapin' kidding me????!!!!! Lauren's voice is amazingly unique; she could have been the next American Idol! I get goosebumps when I hear her sing and that only happens when the voice is a winner; which hers surely is. Get her back, you won't be sorry; I trust my goosebumps - they've never let me down; and she won't either.

   LAUREN ROCKS! THAT WAS A PURELY SUPERFICIAL, SUCKY DECISION!!!!! Lauren did NOT fit any of the pre-set goodietooshoes categories - she was an adele-eque soulful talent, and a BEAUTIFUL GIRL BTW, and was rejected - perhaps she wasn't as confident as she could have been, and on that show you probably have to be undeniable, refusing to be refused and let no weakness show to give no excuse for rejection, BUT Lauren has a too too cool sound and definitely should not stop!!!!

   you should have made top 24. My husband and I live in Nashville. Mike is originally tom NY and I am originally from Los Angeles. Mike has worked with a ton of artists and he is a song writer/producer. We love your voice. You are amazing. Google him... Michael Lattanzi. Google me. Kathy Lattanzi.
