Kirk Cameron on Piers Morgan tonight in March 2012. He's not a fan of gay marriage, or homosexuality in general for that matter.

I do not believe as he does, but I respect his opinion. I don't believe he's being hateful, although I disagree with his viewpoints entirely. Honestly, I feel the same way about organized religion as he does about homosexuality, and I'm often puzzled at why some people blindly follow it. That being said, everyone's entitles to their beliefs and opinions, and as long as they're not hateful or pushy I'm fine with it.

Kirk is a Christian, as am I. I believe that the Bible is God's Holy word. The Bible plainly states that homosexuality is a sin. I don't have an opinion on the subject, I accept what the Bible says. Homosexuality is a sin, that is correct, but we are all sinners. God loves us all. Christians are not supposed to hate anyone or treat anyone unkindly. Christians are supposed to spread the good news. The news that Jesus died for our sins and if we accept Him as our Savior, confess and repent of our sins we are forgiven. After we accept Jesus as our Savior we are to strive to live according to His will. Christians are not intolerant we just have strong beliefs. Thank you for reading this. I hope it makes a positive influence on someone.

Who cares what this nobody thinks....he is so out of step no one cares and he's probably trying to grab some headlines for some a** backwards-no one wants to see- movie he's involved in. No one that matters even knows who he is!!! Go crawl in a cave where you belong. You are a sure sign of evolution...and what happens when one doesnt evolve!!! So pathetic....why cant he die instead of good people like Whitney Houston???

So when Piers pressurises for a response, he is not looking for a view, but for a judgement, that in turn he can judge as being intolerant. This is interview power-play. There is no understanding of Kirk's relationship with gay friends, how God compels Kirk to show love and respect to his fellowman or why this is not God's best. Logic dictates the survival of the species goes down a mainstream route regardless of feelings or sentiment. Marriage in God's sense is union for procreation. Feel free to argue the toss for it is not with me or Kirk. It was not our idea. But as we have the amazing experience of God coming into our lives instead of condemning us for all the crap we've done, we'll stick to what He's commanded, and love you no matter what because we are no better than you. In fact we could be worse only we've asked for help. End Part 2

Piers corners then criticises Kirk for a viewpoint he doesn't like. Why couldn't Kirk have a heart to heart with his son? I want to know that if the outcome was 'No Dad, I'm gay'-would that lesson Kirk's love for his son? Up to now the Bible says that the creator of us (unpopular main stream thought :( ) has said that marriage between a man and woman is the best thing. He doesn't deny us second, third, forth, fifth etc best, but makes it clear what is best, and that the consequences of other ways are in our hands, if that's what we want. It is not a Christian's job to judge, but follow God's word for themselves and let God be the judge. End Part1
