This commercial is too distrubing for young viewers. I can understand placing it on their site. Although anyone can access and view the PETA website, young children are less likely to go to the PETA website. The Oscars is a family-friendly program. I know that PETA has made racy ads with the intention of them being aired during the Super Bowl. I agree that Super Bowl ads at times go a little too far for younger viewers, but the Super Bowl is mainly geared towards adult males. This graphic commercial of the actor drowning in a pool is too extreme. The Oscars are not marketed towards a mature viewer.
