As usual, Ellen handles this with grace, a bit of humor, and without a trace of the bitterness evidenced by those on the other side of the argument. She is the epitome of a role model...not for being gay, but for being a beautiful, loving and generous force in this world. Anyone foolish enough to hurl hate and judgment at her is only going to shine the spotlight on his/her own gross shortcomings as a human being. Shame on them. Bravo JC Penney for standing your ground!
