Thats whats wrong with the world today,it is so easy for us to judge one another when we really need to look at our self.We need to be lifting each other up espically in a time like this love one another ,pick your bother or sister up when they fall.Don't you know that you create your own heaven or hell. The choice is yours stop puting each other down.If your child perform at school in front of alot of people an she don't do so well ,what are you gonna tell her ,when you know she gave her best. Next time think about that.

Linda and Elizabeth have their heart on the pulse - I am thank ful that Hollywood Gossip uploaded this and Stevie Wonder's heartfelt expressions of their grief and love for Whitney - these where not performances and it is WHY the funeral was not open to the public - it was a funeral for a beloved member of this musical family- all I can imagine is the ones writing negative evaluation of the singing as if it was a performance to be rated, have never been a funeral for a loved one - and had to stand up and share - whether speaking or singing - as your heart is breaking with grief and sorrow -

I could turn my set off, but I felt sorry for the people in the church who had to sit there and listen to it.

Her si--I mean YELLING--was so bad I had to mute the TV. Couldn't stand to listen to it.

Lamebrains!!! Have you ever sung at the funeral of a loved one in your life??? I have! It's nearly impossible to "perform"! The grief affects your heart, and if one DIDN'T find their voice breaking up, they would be inhuman! Alicia did very well, under the circumstances!!!

  8. Elizabeth

Has all feeling left this world?!! I can't imagine why any caring person would even want to write a negative remark regarding this straight from a grieving heart performance. I could feel the hurt in her plea as she reached out to heaven for an angel. If God didn't hear that anquished cry and feel the pain in her voice, then perhaps I don't understand anything about love and feelings. Thank heaven, there are still artists such as Alicia Keys to put themselves out there for us to experience not just the voice, but also the heart. A fine tribute to Whitney Houston.

Alicia keys was trying to hard. She sounded terrible! thats the truth. Was she trying to impress people?

It wasn't a "performance" you morons - it was mourning, it was a funeral, it was pure heartbreak for those who loved her, including Alicia. If this is how you carry yourself in life no one will be this distraught at your passing.
