by Free Britney at . Comments is not a fan of the posthumous Michael Jackson album, Michael.

The forthcoming project is "disrespectful" to the King of Pop, who the the Black Eyed Peas frontman says would be rolling in his grave at its release.

His reasoning? MJ was such a perfectionist, he would never want fans to hear his songs without his approval. In's mind, this is a low blow.

Akon sees Michael Jackson's legacy differently than

"Whoever put it out and is profiting off of it, I want to see how cold they are," he said. "To say that what (MJ) contributed during his life wasn't enough. He just wasn't any ordinary artist. He was a hands-on person. To me it's disrespectful."

"Michael Jackson songs are finished when Michael says they're finished.", who recorded with Michael just before he died, says those tapes will never see the light of day, unlike "Hold My Hand," MJ's collaboration with Akon.

Their duet is the first single from Michael, and Akon disagrees with, saying the upcoming record is actually keeping the King Of Pop's "legacy alive."

"I don't see anything disrespectful about it," he says. "These albums would have come out if he was alive or dead." What do you think? Is it good or bad?

When does a meat dress become the second strangest outfit worn to an awards ceremony?

When a hip hop artist attends the event in blackface.

Amanda Bynes Twit Pic

That's what chose to do for some reason last night, creating a backlash on Twitter. Citing the get-up's history of promoting racial stereotypes against African-Americas, the musician was labeled a "racist" by one user, while another said "just sent us back 1,000 yrs."

At these jabs, the artist Tweeted in response:

“1st. just because I where all black including head mask as expression and emphasize my outfit, it shouldn’t be looked at as racial... Let go of the past. there are far more important things 2 bark about. (Jobs, health, education) not a black man wearing all black everything... Are you guys serious? my outfit set “black people back 100 yrs” choose your twits wisely. no education sets people back, no jobs, bad health.”

The civil lawsuit stemming from a scuffle between annoying celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton and a hot-tempered Black Eyed Peas manager has been dropped.

A Los Angeles Superior Court Judge agreed Tuesday to dismiss the lawsuit, brought by Hilton against Liborio Molina after the two sides agreed on a settlement.

A criminal assault charge against Molina was also dropped.

Perez Hilton Getting Punched

HAD IT COMING: A photo of the melee in which Perez's clock was cleaned.

In November, Molina formally apologized to Hilton for kicking his ass outside a Toronto nightclub following the Much Music Video Awards in June 2009.

The violence occured after the blogger (real name is Mario Lavandeira), admittedly exchanged heated comments with earlier that night.

The Peas were upset at Perez's negative coverage of them. Hilton, who is openly gay, referred to as a f****t. The punches began flying.

As part of the agreement, Molina made a donation to the city's Red Door Family Shelter and agreed not to contact Perez Hilton except through their lawyers, not to carry any weapons for 12 months and not go near the club where the fight occurred.

Wyclef Jean of the Fugees fame and the Black Eyed Peas' can never be described as conventional - both in terms of their music and respective fashion sense.

Back in the spotlight lately as he pushes relief efforts in his native Haiti, Wyclef wore a black suit with thick pinstripes to last night's Grammys. Thumbs up from us.

Meanwhile, and his bandmates delivered a kick-ass performance, but while Fergie's dress was a huge hit last night, her band mate's camo suit? Not so sure.

But you tell us in the poll below. Can's alternative effort top Wyclef's more traditional ensemble? It would be an upset, but it's for you style critics to decide.

Perez Hilton is sad.

After getting his clock cleaned by the manager of the Black Eyed Peas following a war of words outside the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto, Ont., the celebrity gossip blogger is not only bitter at his attacker, but people who don't feel really sorry for him.

While no one condones a violent assault (follow the link to check out the video of the fight), many find it difficult to sympathize with a classless idiot who:

  • Clearly relishes the role of instigator.
  • Went out of his way to cause trouble, as usual.
  • Chose terribly offensive language to provoke someone.

This upsets Perez.

Here are excerpts from his whiny statement:

"Words can hurt. I know that very well, from both sides of the fence."

"I was in an out-of-the ordinary situaton [sic] and used a word that I would not utter under normal circumstances. My intention - however misguided it may have been - was to stand up for myself and tell this belligerent man that I had enough of his badgering and was not going to continue to let him berate and intimidate me. I wanted to hurt him with the word I chose, not anyone else. Unfortunately, the one who got hurt was me and, subsequently, a lot of other people. I wish none of it had happened."

"I've come to terms with all my incongruities and am proud of who I am and what I do. In closing, words can hurt. But words should not provoke someone to violence. Stripped away from the mask of Perez Hilton, I have been extremely bothered by the public reaction to my assault. Violence should never be condoned with such statements as 'It's Karma' or 'I don't believe in violence but…'"

"In fact, several television and radio shows over the past couple of days echoed the sentiment "He had it coming.' Would they have said the same thing if I was a woman? Would I have 'deserved it' if I had been stabbed? Or shot? Or killed?"

"There are many ways to deal with disagreements, both good and bad, but violence is never the answer. Never. I now know that first-hand. It should not be condoned, promoted or accepted. No one 'deserves' to be the victim of violence."

"No one 'has it coming.' NO ONE. And victims should not be ridiculed."

What do you think? Whose side are you on?

Amazingly, the exact instant in which Perez Hilton got punched in the dome during an altercation with the Black Eyed Peas was captured in the photograph below.

The image clearly shows Perez wincing as he was getting socked with a clenched fist, or a nanosecond after the fact. The terrified look on his face tells it all.

It is not clear:

  1. Who the fist belongs to (Perez claims the Peas' manager, Polo Molina, threw the punch after the blogger and got into an argument in Toronto).
  2. Whether that is in fact Lady Gaga on the left.

We've seen the video of the fight after the MuchMusic Awards, now here's the photo taken as heated words escalated into a violent melee:

Perez Hilton Getting Punched

Guess Perez Hilton wasn't lying about being punched in the head. Whether the pink-haired' one's conduct is to blame for the violent incident is another subject.

The incident ended with the celebrity gossip magnate Tweeting his followers for help, and police eventually arresting Polo Molina for the assault on Hilton.

Perez and were allegedly arguing over his coverage of the Black Eyed Peas and his blog when Hilton called a f**got, sparking the attack.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is furious at Perez, who is gay, for his use of that slur, and asked that Hilton make an apology.

But now Perez is ticked at GLAAD and says they should apologize.

He said in a statement:

"I am saddened GLAAD chose to victimize me further by criticizing me for how I non-violently dealt with a scary situation that, unfortunately, turned violent."

"While I doubt I will get an apology from GLAAD, nor do I expect one, I hope people know how difficult it is to intellectualize a situation and think rationally when a thug disguised as a musician is screaming at your face and intimidating you."

"I am just very fortunate and grateful that nothing more serious happened to me."

Do you sympathize with Perez that the altercation turned violent and he was hit? Or did he deserve what he got? Whose side are you on? Biography
