will.i.am is a rapper, songwriter, singer, actor, and producer. will.i.am rose to fame as frontman and founder of the hit hip hop and pop soul group The Black Eyed Peas, with pop singer Fergie, and rappers Taboo and apl.de.ap.
He was an outspoken supporter of Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential campaign and contributed a couple of very popular online videos to his candidate's cause. On June 22, 2009, will.i.am was accused of assaulting Perez Hilton.
However, from a video posted on his website, will.i.am denies this allegation.
