The June issue of Vanity Fair takes an in-depth look at the life and death of Whitney Houston.

Written by Contributing Editor Mark Seal, the article delves into the late singer's love life, which is best known for her 15-year marriage to Bobby Brown, but which also included a dalliance with Kim Kardashian sex tape partner, Ray J.

  • Ray J Red Carpet Pic

Karrine Steffans - a self-proclaimed "Video Vixen," who has dated Brown, Ray J and Bill Maher, among other celebrities - is featured in the piece, telling Seal that Ray used to taunt Brown on a frequent basis.

One evening, according to Steffans, she received a call from J.

“He said, ‘Is Bob still staying with you?’ I said, ‘Yeah, he’s right here.’ And Ray said, ‘Tell him I f-cked both of his chicks, you and now his wife.’”

Ouch. Slam, yo!

Steffans goes on to side with Brown, who recently gave a defensive interview in which he shirked all responsibility for Houston's drug use.

“Bob’s big thing was everyone blamed him for her downfall, but when he met her she was already using drugs. He always felt very angry about that. He told me, ‘What everybody saw wasn’t the real Whitney.’ He always said her private persona - which you saw on Being Bobby Brown - was who she really was.”

Bobby Brown taped an interview with Matt Lauer this morning - for segments on The Today Show that will run Wednesday and Thursday - and made it a priority to defend himself against accusations that his hard-partying lifestyle played a role in the tragic death of Whitney Houston.

"I didn't get high before I met Whitney," Brown says, seemingly blaming HER for HIS problems, although clarifying that he did smoke "weed" and drink prior to their relationship.

But Brown emphasized that he wasn't "the one that got Whitney on drugs at all" and that he feels "terrible" folks think otherwise.

Bobby Brown on Today

Because, really people, the important thing here is how Bobby Brown feels.

Houston and Brown were married from 1992 to 2007 and are the parents of a daughter, Bobbi Kristina. The singer told Lauer that their one year of filming Being Bobby Brown had a profound affect on their recreational drug use.

Rosie O'Donnell is not holding back in her strange crusade against Lindsay Lohan, saying if she doesn't change her life, she could die like Whitney Houston.

Rosie went back on Today show this morning to expand on why she believes LiLo should not have been cast as Liz Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime movie.

Or any acting role, for that matter.

O'Donnell suggested Lindsay is heading down a similar path as the late, great Whitney Houston, and can only be saved if she takes time off from showbiz.

Rosie O'Donnell on Today

The ruthless Hollywood machine is slowly killing Lohan, Rosie feels, and she says feels obligated to speak out about the 25-year-old actress because:

"Watching Whitney Houston's funeral I recall thinking, 'Why didn't more people say what they knew?' We all knew. We watched Being Bobby Brown - it was like watching Sid and Nancy ... they were people in the throes of addiction."

"All anyone cared about was that the show was getting ratings. To look at Lindsay Lohan, you can't help but feel for her ... and I do not think she's untalented, I think she's quite talented. But this is a dangerous situation."

What do you think? Is Rosie totally off base or should she zip it? Lindsay has brushed off her attacks, but might she be better off heeding the warnings?

Glee will pay tribute to Whitney Houston on Tuesday night, airing an episode titled "Dance with Somebody" that features a number of hits by the late artist.

The series will use them help paint the picture of seniors at fictional William McKinley High School graduating and saying goodbye to each other.

Whether you think this is merely an admirable showing of respect for the legend, or a pathetic exploitation of her tragic death, one thing cannot be debated: the first cover released by Fox from the episode is incredibly impressive.

It features Mercedes (Amber Riley), Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Santana (Naya Rivera) breaking down "How Will I Know" A capella style, and it's destined to be included in the Glee pantheon of covers. Watch the clip now:

The 911 call placed moments after Whitney Houston's body was found in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel on February 11 has just been released.

A member of the hotel security team is the person who made the call, informing the 911 operator about a "46-year-old female found in the bathroom."

The caller says he was alerted to the situation by an "irate" woman who called security from the room, but couldn't get much information from her.

A woman who first dialed security kept hanging up for whatever reason, preventing the dispatcher from giving potentially life-saving instructions faster.

Listen to the Whitney Houston 911 call below:

"I'm not sure if she fell or if she was in the bathroom with the water," the hotel security employee says of Whitney Houston, who he never identifies by name.

The security team member was under the impression she was not breathing, and the 911 dispatcher sent emergency personnel there immediately.

Too late, as it turned out, as the star couldn't be revived. Whitney's official cause of death is listed as "accidental drowning," with foul play ruled out.

Heart disease and cocaine use were contributing factors, according to Houston's autopsy report, and the legendary singer may well have overdosed.

The L.A. County Coroner said Whitney's chronic use of drugs caused a narrowing of her arteries, which resulted in a cardiac event before her death.

Whitney Houston passed away from an accidental drowning, and there was no foul play involved in her death, according to the now-closed case file.

The Beverly Hills Police Department has been investigating Whitney's death since February 11, and officially closed the book on the case Wednesday.

The lack of foul play isn't really news, as the BHPD was working under the assumption of Houston's accidental death at the Beverly Hilton hotel.

Moreover, police never believed anyone took cocaine from her hotel room because they found the cocaine residue and powder inside Whitney's room.

Cocaine was a contributing factor in her death, according to the L.A. County Coroner, who published the Whitney Houston autopsy results last week.

Hopefully, her passing serves as a cautionary tale for many, including her own daughter. That Bobbi Kristina Brown bong video is a little unsettling.

The Fox hit series Glee will pay homage to the late, great singer Whitney Houston April 24 in an episode appropriately entitled "Dance With Somebody."

New Directions will cover some of Whitney's hart-toppers, and it looks like Brittany (Heather Morris) and Santana (Naya Rivera) will do the title song.

Here's a promotional photo from Glee's Whitney Houston episode ...

Heather Morris on Glee

The show returns with an all-new episode tonight. Next week, in "Saturday Night Glee-ver," the Glee club will page homage to the movie Saturday Night Fever.

Hope you're all ready for some disco-infused numbers, followed by Whitney the following week, and probably some not-so-subtle PSAs thrown in as well.

Interestingly, Glee's Amber Riley shot this cover of "I Will Always Love You" right before Houston passed away. Will be tough to top. Listen below ...

In the hours following the release of the full Whitney Houston autopsy - which details a drug-laden hotel room and the state of the singer's dead body, lying face down in a bathtub, blood pooling off her nose - many fans of the singer are reacting with disgust and sadness.

But that's nothing compared to the state of Whitney's mother, Cissy.

R.I.P. Whitney Houston

Insiders tell TMZ that Cissy Houston is "devastated" and "inconsolable" over these findings, crying uncontrollably after reading the evidence that her daughter suffered from a deep-seeded cocaine problem.

"No one's perfect. Only the Lord can judge," Cissy has reportedly said in response to the sad truth, with her biggest fear being folks will now remember Whitney as a drug addict and not as one of the all-time great singers.

Cissy simply hopes the public considers Houston's iconic National Anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl before they think of the troubles that followed.

The complete Whitney Houston autopsy is in, and it reveals a number of harrowing details regarding the singer's death on February 11.

The document states that a "spoon with a white crystal-like substance on it" was found in the hotel room in which Whitney died, along with a "white powdery substance" later tested and determined to be cocaine.

A Final Image of Whitney Houston

Houston's body was found face down in the bathtub - in approximately 13 inches of water, the report adds -with "bloody purge coming from her nose." Moreover, a "perforation of posterior nasal septum" made it clear that the singer had a history of drug use.

There were no signs of foul play, officials included, while also writing up a detailed account of Houston's surroundings. It reads as follows:

Rihanna thinks so. Rihanna hopes so. With rumors swirling that a Whitney biopic is in the works, the singer made it clear in an interview with The Press Association this week that she'd love to take on the iconic big screen challenge.

"That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off," Rihanna said. "That's a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job."
