Like the season as a whole, it was relatively uneventful, but Situation, Snooki, Pauly D, Sammi, Ronnie, Vinny, Deena and JWoww went out in style.

A bonfire on the beach required some hard wood courtesy of Vinny, and not the kind he's used to displaying whenever Snooki is around. Plus 20.

Jersey Shore is really limping toward its December 20 finish line at this point.

Even its most loyal devotees will concede this; it's run out of ... something.

Let's break down the penultimate episode and The Situation's strip show:

The Situation's stripper name, Vito Dorado, was pretty much the highlight.

Somehow the others convince Mike to show us his moves, which he used to do for money before he became a reality star ... and wow. Just wow. Minus 50.

After Thanksgiving provided us a week off (for better or worse), MTV's sun-setting hit Jersey Shore returned with the first of its final four episodes Thursday night.

A blast from the past made an appearance. That's about it.

There were plenty of interesting developments ... teased for the following episode. The baby shower, for one, barely got underway. Oh well, join us for THG's recap!

From what we did see of Snooki's surprise baby shower, it was awkward central up in there, with a standoff between Snook, Mike and Jionni looking inevitable.

This week on Jersey Shore, Paula Pickard may have dodged a bullet.

The latest? "The Show with Vinny," a reality/talk show starring Vinny Guadagnino.

Yes, Vinny will soon join Snooki, JWoww and Pauly D with his very own show.

Interestingly, "The Show with Vinny" will take place entirely in Vinny Guadagnino's family home on Staten Island. With his family present. Yes, we're serious.
