Vince Vaughn, Kyla Weber Welcome First Child!
Vince Vaughn and Kyla Weber just received an early Christmas present.
Locklyn Kyla Vaughn was born December 18! She weighed 7 pounds!
The healthy baby girl, the couple's first child, was born at a hospital in Chicago, Vaughn's hometown. The actor's rep confirms the good news.
Congratulations to the new parents!
"Both of them couldn't be happier to welcome their baby girl," says a pal of Vaughn and Weber, a Canadian real estate agent and Vince's wife of nearly a year.
When Weber's pregnancy was announced in July, a source close to The Dilemma star said that the newlyweds were thrilled to start a family so quickly.
"They're having so much fun and they're so excited to be first-time parents!"
Vince Vaughn and GLAAD Respond to Dilemma Over Gay Movie Line
Anderson Cooper didn't merely call out Vince Vaughn and his upcoming movie The Dilemma last week; he actually succeeded in getting the studio to remove a line from that film's trailer.
The CNN anchor took issue with the use of the word "gay" to describe electric cars in a scene from the comedy, saying "those words [are] unacceptable because those words are hurting kids."
Now, both Vaughn and GLAAD have released statements regarding this flap, as it's still unclear whether or not the quote will remain in the movie itself.
“Let me add my voice of support to the people outraged by the bullying and persecution of people for their differences, whatever those differences may be," said the actor. "Comedy and joking about our differences breaks tension and brings us together. Drawing divided lines over what we can and cannot joke about does exactly that; it divides us. Most importantly, where does it stop.”
Vince Vaughn and Kayla Weber: Expecting!
Vince Vaughn and Kayla Weber aren't wasting any time.
The Wedding Crashers star and his wife of less than a year, Kayla Weber, are expecting a baby following their wedding in January, a source confirmed Tuesday.
Last September, Vaughn said after spending years as a bachelor, he was ready for his life to be about other things - like getting married and having a baby!
"It's the first time that I really want to have kids," he said.
A friend of the couple says the two, who have been together several years now, are "thrilled" about the news, and who can blame them? Kids rule.
Congratulations to the expectant couple!
Vince Vaughn and Kyla Weber: Married!
Vince Vaughn is a married man. The actor married his girlfriend Kyla Weber at a quiet ceremony in Lake Forest, Illinois on Saturday Janiuary 2, his rep says.
According to reports the wedding ceremony took place before "several dozen friends and family" in an "opulent, historic house at Lake Forest Academy."
The Couples Retreat star revealed in October that he proposed to Weber.
Kyla Weber, Canadian real estate agent, and Vince Vaughn got engaged on Valentine's Day 2009. Vince says he figured the day had numerous advantages.
Kyla Weber is now Mrs. Vince Vaughn! Congratulations!
When February 14 rolled around, "I figured this is not a ship to be missed because I will not forget this date," the 39-year-old Vaughn told Ellen DeGeneres.
"So Valentine's Day was the day that I asked her."
Vaughn, who dated Jennifer Aniston for over a year, is "very happy" with Kyle Weber: "She makes me laugh. She is wonderful. I'm just thrilled," he said.
Vince Vaughn: Engaged to Kyla Weber!
Vince Vaughn is off the market.
The tall, handsome drink of water is reportedly engaged to Kyla Weber. The pair was spotted together on a beach earlier this year:
According to a Star Magazine source: "He dropped to one knee to propose and presented her with a gorgeous $125,000 4-carat diamond set in platinum. They’ll have their wedding either in L.A. or Alberta, and they’re both ready to start a family immediately!”
Weber is a former real-estate agent from a small town outside of Calgary.
Vaughn's most high-profile relationship involved Jennifer Aniston, as he was fortunate enough to be that actress' post-Brad Pitt rebound.
Hot Hollywood Couple Alert! Vanessa Williams and Vince Vaughn
Has Vince Vaughn seen Vanessa Williams nude?
No, we're not referring to the former Playboy spread of this actress. We mean live and in person.
Reports are coming in that the Wedding Crashers star and the Ugly Betty actress are dating. Sources say they've been sneaking around Los Angeles together, trying to keep the new romance a secret.
"Vanessa's really trying to keep this a secret," claimed an insider. "She feels that the press helped ruin her relationship with Rick Fox, so she's trying to keep what she has with Vince private."
Sorry, Vanessa. But you can't get anything past The Hollywood Gossip!
Just ask Sandro Oh and Andrew Featherston.
Jennifer Aniston, Vince Vaughn: Friends with Benefits?
We consider ourselves celebrity gossip connoisseurs.
But we've never been able to figure out the couple known as "Vaughniston." Are they together? Are they broken up? Should we refer to them as "Vinnifer" instead? Tough questions. Few answers.
In fact, just when we though that the relationship was over, this nugget comes across our desk: On the afternoon of April 21, Vince Vaughn hopped into his blue Pontiac Firebird convertible and made a familiar journey to the Hollywood Hills home of Jennifer Aniston.
Apparently the former lovebirds had lots of catching up to do... in bed!
"Vince didn't leave until 5 p.m. the next day," an eyewitness - who must've been staring at her house for 24 hours straight - tells Us Magazine.
According to friends of each actor, though, it's okay if these two got as nude as Kristine Lefebvre together. An Aniston friend says she can trust Vince, while a Vaughn source said:
"It's no big deal if he stayed over. They are friends and can be friends with benefits."
Shockingly, though, L.A.-based psychologist Ava Cadell says it's difficult for people who have been in a sexual relationship to remain friends, "so the fact that they did remain friends really shows good character and stability."
That's some seriously expert analysis, doctor. Are you gonna tell us next that it's difficult for Andy Baldwin to find true love on national television?
"It all depends on what their intentions are," says Cadell, ignoring our mockery and talking about Vince and Jen. "It's healthy, as long as they both want to do it and it feels good."
Hear that, readers? Go sleep with your ex, as long as you each want to and orgasms result from the hook-ups. (Somewhere, Kevin Federline is totally calling Britney right now.)
Anyway, let's take a look back at the ups and downs of Vaughniston's romance...
Jennifer Aniston, Vince Vaughn and Others are The People's Choices
Whew. This could've been awkward.
Both Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn won People's Choice Awards for their breakup â" that is, their movie The Break-Up â" last night. Fortunately, good humor and class ruled the evening.
Aniston was named favorite female star, while Vaughn was picked by the public as favorite leading man.
"You all have supported me since the days of Friends," Aniston told the audience, "just through all of it â" good work, bad work and the ugly. I just thank you."
Aniston also poked a little fun at Britney Spears, quipping about the short skirt she was wearing: "Man, I tell you, it's a lucky thing we do wear underwear, huh?"
Among other winners, Johnny Depp, who was filming in London and unable to attend the ceremony, accepted his favorite male movie star and male action star for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest via satellite.
He and costar Keira Knightley were also selected favorite onscreen match-up.
Grey's Anatomy, meanwhile, was a double winner: favorite TV drama and Patrick Dempsey, favorite male TV star.
"Thank you for a second chance!" Dempsey told the crowd. "I'm very fortunate to be part of a great ensemble." To the show's creator, Shonda Rhimes, he said: "Thank you for creating Dr. McDreamy, it's changed my life."
And Desperate Housewives's Eva Longoria, who was named favorite female TV star, told the crowd: "If it wasn't for the people, I'd never win an award."
Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack" was named favorite R&B song, while Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney were cited as favorite singers.
Jennifer Aniston, Vince Vaughn Really Do Break Up
Stop us if you've heard this one before: Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have broken up.
After more than a year together, the couple has finally parted ways for good.
"After Jennifer's trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today," reps Stephen Huvane and John Pisani told People magazine.
The statement ends weeks of speculation that Aniston and Vaughn's relationship has been cooling off. But it doesn't end the issue of whether or not they broke up due to a disagreement about being called Vaughniston or Vinnifer.
Vaughn has been filming Fred Claus in London since late September, while Aniston has been busy working in Los Angeles and New York.
The couple began dating in the summer of 2005 while working on The Break-Up in Chicago. Perhaps that title should've been an omen. We just hope it remains amiable and Vaughn doesn't go all Beyonce on us.
Because Jennifer Aniston is not fat.
More Hazy, Uninformative News on Jennifer Aniston/Vince Vaughn
Are they together? Aren't they together? Will we continue to write about Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn, even when we have no real news on their status as a couple?
We don't know; we don't know; and of course!
After nearly 60 days apart, Aniston arrived in London last week to see her possible boyfriend. On the night of October 27, Us Magazine has learned the actors shared the penthouse suite at a London hotel, where the pair ordered room service (steak, veal and red wine).
(Does that mean the waiting staff reported such detailed, important news to the publication? Makes David Hans Schmidt look like a role model.)
The trip was the first time the on-off-on again couple had seen each other since their rumored break up. On Saturday, Vinnifer took in a matinee performance of the musical Wicked, then returned to the hotel.
Aniston, who once decried reports of a romance with Vaughn as false on Oprah, returned to the show earlier this month to deny a split. But various outlets have raised a skeptical eye:
RadarOnline.com quoted an Aniston "insider" declaring the actress' attempts at keeping the romance alive a "face-saving measure"; People magazine, in its recent cover story on Aniston, quoted a Vaughn "insider" as saying the couple had had a "cooling off" period.
Others simply speculate that her decision to discuss her relationship with Vaughn is to boost DVD sales of The Breakup. Ouch! Talk about cynical. We just hope Jennifer is happy.
And that maybe one day she joins The Pussycat Dolls on stage.
