There was very good news for Usher fans last night: the singer took to the stage at the American Music Awards.

However, there was also bad news: he kept his shirt on.

Still, the slick dancer and all-around incredible talent blew attendees away with a medley of “Numb,” “Climax,” and “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop.” Watch now:

Here's a different take on a hit song by an artist you didn't see coming - and unlike the 96 "Call Me Maybe" covers out there, requires actual talent!

Usher took on Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" as part of his Live Lounge Special on BBC's Radio 1, showing off his surprising musical range.

He even played bass guitar himself on the track! For a man known for his sexy R&B tunes, Usher's not half bad when it comes to electro indie-rock.

Watch him do Foster the People proud below:

We are one week away from the release of Justin Bieber's special shout-out to Christmas, as "Under the Mistletoe" comes out on November 1.

In anticipation of this event, the singer unveiled the official music video for his holiday original a few days ago - and now he's teamed up with Usher to present this duo's version of "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire."

"This record is going to be remembered for years to come," Usher said on Ryan Seacrest's radio program today. "It's a record that has always been on of my favorites, and I'm happy that I was able to share it with Justin, and for us to put it out."

Justin Bieber has made it very clear: he'll be teaming up with mentor Usher for at least one song on his upcoming Christmas CD.

“just finished a late nt in the studio for the christmas album…it is OFFICIAL…my big bro @UsherRaymondIV is on the album with me! #EPIC (sic)” Justin Tweeted this week.

Let's just hope Justin can find time to lay down some songs in between his planning of amazing dates with Selena Gomez.

Friends and Artists

No release date has been announced for the album yet, but Billboard might as well save a spot at number-one for Justin some time this winter.

Other artists rumored to be collaborating with Bieber on it include The Band Perry, Boyz II Men, Taylor Swift and Sean Kingston.
