Suge Knight has NOT been arrested for the unsolved 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur, despite what recent Twitter rumors would have you believe.

The ex-Death Row honcho's crime record includes prison stints for drug possession, assault and probation violations over the last quarter century.

It does not, however, include a recent murder accusation.

Tupac was signed to Knight's label when he was gunned down in a Las Vegas drive-by in 1996, a murder that has never led to an arrest ... possibly because Shakur is not really dead, at least according to conspiracy theorists.

Spokeswoman Laura Meltzer of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, which allegedly arrested Knight, spoke to E! about the rumor:

"I don't have any information that [Suge Knight was arrested]. We picked him up on traffic warrants in February ... that is the last arrest I show for him."

Conspiracy theorists? Take notice. This is the day you've been waiting for.

There is a very good chance Tupac Shakur is alive and well, and in hiding, according to the man who was with him during the (allegedly) fatal shooting.

Former Death Row Records kingpin Suge Knight came on 93.5 KDay in L.A. and threw gasoline on the fire of the urban legend that simply will not die.

Maybe we weren't so far off after all when we posited that the Tupac hologram was the real deal. According to Suge, the rapper FAKED his own death.

Knight's theory on why the killer was never caught? There was no murder: "Maybe the question is ... Pac's not really dead ... Pac's somewhere else."

Asked if he ever saw Tupac's body following the 1996 drive-by shooting, he adds, "Nobody seen Tupac dead." Well, that's one way of putting it.

Suge Knight explains, "The person who supposedly cremated Tupac ... this guy got about 3 million dollars .. personally from me. Cash ... and next thing I know I never heard from the guy or seen him again ... he retired and left."

Oookay then. You tell us: Is he really dead?

According to reports, Tupac's hologram performance at Coachella has Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre thinking of taking the late rapper's CGI likeness with them on tour.

Tupac died back in 1996 (well, according to some people), but he was introduced to a whole new generation of fans thanks to the wizards at Digital Domain.

The Hollywood firm created a CGI version of the rapper performing on "Hail Mary" and "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" at the Coachella Festival this weekend:

Using angled reflectors to create the illusion that he was actually alive and on stage, video of the stunt hit the Internet and became a viral sensation Monday.

It also looked like Tupac's been busy at the gym in the afterlife.

Anyway, old 2Pac friends and collaborators Dre and Snoop told the Wall Street Journal that the two are considering mounting an arena tour - with digi-Pac.

"This is just the beginning," Digital Domain's chief creative officer, Ed Ulbrich, told the paper. "Dre has a massive vision for this." That got us thinking ...

Talk to THG: If the Tupac Shakur hologram performed at a venue in your hometown, would you pay to go see that crazy mofo?

And more importantly, is Tupac even dead?

Today, THG Asks: Is Tupac Shakur really dead?

YES. By Hilton Hater

Tupac Shakur once wondered, "I Wonder If Heaven's Got a Ghetto."

And the truth, no matter how badly you want to believe otherwise, is that the iconic rapper now knows for certain. He's gone. Deceased. Deader than Lindsay Lohan's movie career.

I know, I know: eight albums have been released since Tupac was shot in 1996. And that Tupac hologram at Coachella really did seem life-like.

But no credible source has ever reported a Tupac sighting. University Medical Center, one of the most respected hospitals in the country, pronounced him dead six days after he was gunned down in Las Vegas. Why would those doctors lie?

It can be hard to let go. But Life Goes On, Tupac once rapped to his fans. He'd want you to accept his fate, keep ya head up and be real to your women.

NO. By Free Britney

The Notorious B.I.G.'s posthumous album was titled Life After Death.

Many at Coachella feel they saw Biggie's arch rival, Tupac Shakur, experience this over the weekend. It's a great story ... except 2Pac is not really dead.

First off, Tupac's "death" in 1996 was too perfectly orchestrated and replete with too many biblical and numerological references to be simply coincidental.

The motives behind the fake murder are unclear - to avoid going to jail, or drum up sales for Death Row, or be reincarnated as Makaveli? - but the killing was staged.

It also remains unsolved. How convenient.

Second of all, the "hologram" of Tupac performing was 100 times more realistic than any hologram known to man. There's no way that wasn't a human being.

Think about it. If you could make holograms that cool, why wouldn't we see them in our daily lives, walking around left and right? It doesn't make any sense.

It does make for a media conspiracy. That "hologram" is just media telling us that it's fake because he's still the most wanted motherf--ker in America.

THG Asks you ... is Pac really dead?

Break out the champagne glasses and the motherf--kin' condoms.

This weekend's Coachella festival was the place to be. Everyone was there. Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Vanessa Hudgens, Lindsay Lohan ... even Tupac!!

Say what now? The late rapper appeared as a hologram (seriously).

Check out the video below of a startlingly real-looking 2Pac "performing" two of his hits, including "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" with Snoop Dogg (seriously):

Somewhere, conspiracy theorists are salivating over this and insisting it's actually 'Pac, and the media is just telling us that it's a hologram because he's still the most wanted motherf--ker in America. West side 'til we die b!tchez.

The absurd Tupac sex tape unearthed earlier this year has been sold, but only to a private collector who has no plans to make the 1991 footage public.

According to reports, the former owner of the tape decided not to sell to any corporate sex companies, describing them as "parasites." How virtuous.

It is unknown how much the 2Pac video sold for, but it was reported that two rival porn agencies were ready to pay $150,000 or more for the Tupac sex tape.

Tupac Pic

Tupac's family have made it clear they do not want the X-rated flick to be distributed and have insisted that they "will sue anyone who tries to sell a Tupac tape."

According to an official spokesman for Tupac's estate, only his family can authorize the use of Tupac's image for commercial use and they would not permit this.

The rapper's mother Afeni Shakur has also reportedly told her representatives: "Get the legal team ready because we will not allow someone to put it out."

Looks like a moot point now. The footage of Tupac getting serviced orally by some girl at a house party while smoking, drinking and dancing to his own music will be enjoyed by a private collector for personal use only. Which is sort of odd.

A HUGE offer just surfaced for the Tupac sex tape ... but it has nothing to do with Shakur receiving oral relief. Peeps just want the song playing in the background!

A million-dollar offer has been made by the CEO of NOHO, which is seeking to acquire all rights to the unreleased Tupac track playing in the background of the tape.

That's right. One million for an unreleased Tupac track.

Tupac Photo

It's not even clear who owns the rights to that Tupac song, but the company (which makes an anti-hangover drink), has flat-out offered to buy them straight up.

The track would then be the official theme song for the beverage. Obvi. This is absurd for any number of reasons, but let's just list a few of them below ...

  1. So far, no one's offered more than $150,000 for the 2Pac tape.
  2. Tupac's estate, led by mom Afeni Shakur, will never consent.
  3. The aforementioned CEO has not even heard the track yet.

The newly-unearthed 1991 Tupac sex tape will never hit the market.

That's the definitive stance of the late rapper's family, which vows it will sue anyone who attempts to distribute the footage of Pac getting serviced at a party.

A spokesperson for 2Pac's estate said, "We will sue anyone who tries to sell a Tupac tape," because only the estate has the power to authorize the use of Tupac Shakur's image for commercial use, the source says, and it's not about to green light that.

Afeni Shakur, Tupac Shakur

Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, is aware of the sex tape (we've seen a photo from it that proves it's real), and is already gearing up for a court battle, saying:

"Get the legal team ready because [we] will not allow someone to put it out."

As for how the heck this is a story 20 years after the fact? The estate's trying to figure out who is marketing the tape by attempting to identify the individuals in the 2Pac tape, including the leading lady, believing one might be the culprit.

The Tupac sex tape is totally real. We know you were dying for proof.

There is currently a bidding war going on over the newly-unearthed 1991 video showing the late Tupac Shakur at a house party - cocktail in one hand and blunt in another - being serviced by some girl as his own music plays in the background.

Pretty hilarious, disgusting and ridiculous all at the same time.

  • Tupac Mug Shot
  • Tupac Shakur Mug Shot

These are actually some of the least incriminating 2Pac pics we've seen!

As the rapper sings along, wiggling his hips, Money B from Digital Underground walks into frame, and Tupac puts his cocktail arm around him as the two chat.

All the while the woman continues doing her thing down there.

Just as 2Pac appeared poised to take matters further with this mystery lady, the tape ends. It's unclear if there's a second part. But check out this pic from it:

Two companies are engaged in a battle to buy the rights to the Tupac sex tape we told you about Monday, and the rights are not gonna be cheap.

Neither company has even laid eyes on the footage yet, but both are serious about securing the rights, and the bidding is already into six figures.

One of the potential buyers is YouPorn - like YouTube, only with ... yeah - whose owner, Corey Price, has offered up to $150,000 for the 2Pac tape.

Tupac Pic

According to sources, however, the person in possession of the tape believes the offer is "way too low" and is willing to hold out for more money.

The seller has been in contact with a second, unidentified porn site, which has vowed to to beat the current offer but only if it can see the footage.

If you missed the story, the 1991 Tupac sex tape shows the late rapper at a party, receiving oral sex while rapping, drinking and smoking a blunt.

Classy, Tupac. Larger than life, even in death.
