Travis Barker is doing all he can the public from seeing naked photos of himself and, for that, allow us to say the following to the veteran musician:

THANK YOU!

A handful of these images broke loose online yesterday morning, leading Barker's lawyer to fire off a cease and desist letter to any site that posted them.

Obtained by TMZ, it reads that the pics were over five years old, private and "never intended for public viewing or to be seen by anyone else." The letter also threatens anyone who posts them with a lawsuit, deeming the action "unauthorized use of private photos."

Barker's face is reportedly unseen, but the tattoos make it clear to whom the penis in question belongs. Some sites still have them live, and we'd link over to the shots... but, come on. Does anyone really want to see them?

Travis Barker and his friends were threatening paparazzi outside a Calabasas, Calif., restaurant recently, although the reason the incident started is unclear.

The drummer and his posse were allegedly spitting at celebrity gossip cameramen, hitting the camera and, according to one man, slashing a photog's tires.

It is believed that Travis Barker first got into it with a photographer on his way into the restaurant, but neither photographer in the video is that individual.

In the video, Travis starts out screaming, "Where's your homeboy?"

The photographers claimed that one of their phones was stolen by Barker's crew. When one confronted Travis' friends about it, a guy can be heard saying:

"F**king fa**ot motherf**ker, no one has your gay ass phone."

Classy gay slurs. Didn't John Mayer teach these guys anything?

After a few more minutes of arguing, and the arrival of cops, no arrests were made, but a vandalism report was taken and people were really, really pissed!

After forming a lasting, near-tragic bond over their improbably survival of a plane crash that claimed the lives of four people last September, Blink 182's Travis Barker can't believe his close friend DJ AM is gone just one year later.

While he is normally known for his bitter online rants about his former wife Shanna Moakler, Barker's most recent Tweets were heartfelt and sad ...

"Don't know how i am gonna play 2night but i am for AM. My brother is gone.i love u and miss u, i'll never forget all the good times we had."

"I'll never forget everything we've been thru and every time i play the drums i'll think of you," Barker's Twitter tribute continued. "U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being. Rest In Peace my brother, this really f--ks me up."

Travis Barker and DJ AM prior to the South Carolina plane crash that they both narrowly survived almost a year ago - and which bonded the pair ever since.

The famed drummer has reunited with his longtime band Blink 182 and is on tour with the group, which took the stage in Hartford, Conn., last night.

Blink 182 paid tribute to DJ AM during an encore at their Saturday concert, Rolling Stone reports. When Barker would normally perform a drum solo, the band held an onstage vigil while all of the lights in the arena were turned off.

AM, real name Adam Goldstein, 36, was found dead Friday afternoon. The cause of his death is not yet known, but some say his recent breakup with Hayley Wood may have caused the addict-turned-straight-arrow DJ to relapse.

Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler have fallen off the peaceful bandwagon.

The contentious couple had gone all summer without going off on one another in public. But, like any good bender, Barker has now broken that truce in a extreme fashion.

Last night, as he dropped off son Landon and daughter Alabama at Moakler's home in Rhode Island, the Blink 182 demanded that his nanny remain with the children. Moakler refused the request.

Barker flipped out, began to scream, and police were called to the scene.

"When Travis refused to go, Shanna called the police," an anonymous source told Life & Style. "They gave Travis a choice: Leave or get arrested. So he left. But he wasn't happy. He's already Twittered about Shanna."

He sure did! Here's what Barker wrote about his ex-wife:

My babies [sic] mama is a pile of sh*t.

Snaps. Yo. Expect Moakler to respond on MySpace in 3... 2... 1...

Once again, Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker have called it quits.

This time, though, amid allegations that an affair with Gerard Butler was the basis for their break up, Moakler is speaking out.

The former beauty queen has taken to her MySpace blog to rail against Barker and the endless insults that have been flying her way. To wit:

"Just so there is no confusion or 'source' to attack my character, I am saying my side," Shanna writes. "Travis and I were very much together in September when the horrific [jet crash] happened. Not only did I fly to Georgia, I stayed by his side the entire stay and also for the bus ride home to L.A. I think any human being with a heart ... would do the same."

After the couple returned to Los Angeles and Barker was hospitalized...

"I came across numerous romantic emails with MANY other woman - some famous, some I personally knew - all heart breaking... It was a painful time that no one, unless they had lived it, has the right to judge. Any actions I may or may have not done after this time mean nothing."

(Translation: I totally banged Butler.)

Overall, Moakler writes she has  "tried to always put the lives and thoughts and feelings of my children first. I am by no means an angel, and I have made many mistakes, but a woman can only turn her cheek so many times."

Moakler added that the entire ordeal is "sad and I wish it had been left behind closed doors. I am a human being and the bashing has taken its toll. Hope you're all happy."

In a story less shocking than the inevitable reveal that Britney Spears is NOT dating Chase Benz, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler have broken up.

Again.

The couple - who divorced in 2004, got back together a few times, broke up some more and then reconciled in September after Barker's near-fatal plane crash - are apart again "after a nasty fight broke out at his house last night and cops were called...[when] Shanna started freaking out and acting irrational," a source told Us Weekly.

No charges were filed.

Reportedly, Barker confronted Moakler about her rumored affair with Gerard Butler, which supposedly took place when he was in the hospital recovering from the aforementioned accident.

Whether or not that story is valid, insiders say Travis "just wants to focus on his music and his children."

Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker are ready to walk down the aisle. Again.

A year after their divorce was finalized, the former beauty queen and Playboy model says she and Barker have found love once more.

“We would like to renew our vows and have another wedding,” Moakler said. “It’s not so much about the wedding, but about having a celebration of each other and getting through all the crazy things we’ve been through.”

Terrific celebrity news of the day: Travis Barker has been released from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.

The rocker had been recovering for nine days after suffering second and third degree burns following a plane crash that took the lives of four people.

His friend DJ AM, the only other passenger to survive, was released from the burn unit on Friday. Both were badly hurt but are expected to recover fully.

BACK IN BUSINESS: While it may take a year for him to fully heal, we expect Travis Barker to be rocking out (and maybe seeing Shanna Moakler nude) in no time.

After somehow escaping a plane crash that killed the other four passengers, doctors are saying that they expect both Travis Barker and DJ AM to make a full recovery from the second- and third-degree burns they suffered.

Their doctors at the Joseph Still Burn Center in Georgia told reporters that Travis Barker is badly burned on his torso as well as the lower portion of his body, while DJ AM reportedly suffered severe burns on his arm and head.

Rehabilitation from the burns will be a long and ongoing process, but Travis Barker and DJ AM remarkably suffered no additional injuries and are expected to be back to 100 percent eventually. Talk about great, unexpected news!

Investigations into the crash are ongoing, but some believe the accident may have been due to a blown tire. The pilot, co-pilot, Barker's assistant and bodyguard were all killed. Barker and DJ AM somehow freed themselves from the wreckage.

Barker’s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, flew to be with the Blink-182 drummer, while singer Mandy Moore (AM’s ex), and pal Jermaine Dupri have also visited. AM's ex-fiance, Nicole Richie, has not visited but has issued a statement sending her best.
