Saturday Night Live alum Tina Fey returned to reprise her role as Sarah Palin in a debate sketch of potential Republican presidential candidates this weekend.

Introduced as "current famous person Sarah Palin," Fey wasted no time launching into her pitch-perfect impression of the '08 GOP vice presidential nominee.

"It's so nice to be back on FOX News, a network that both pays me and shows me the questions ahead of time," Fey gushed as Palin. "I just hope tonight the lamestream media won't twist my words by repeating them verbatim."

Tina Fey and Darrell Hammond

These two make an unbeatable political team. The actors, that is.

"First, I want to acknowledge that we have finally vanquished one of the world's great villains. I for one am thrilled to say good riddance to Katie Couric!" she added.

SNL may fall flat much of the time, but political sketches like this have always been - and remain - must-watch material. Having Tina as host doesn't hurt.

While Fey was terrific, Bill Hader (as Fox News' Shepard Smith) and Darrell Hammond (reprising his role as Donald Trump) really stole the show here.

Watch it after the jump ...

Saturday Night Live will close out a successful season (if only for its parodies of the Kardashian sisters alone) with a set of hilarious hosts and impressive musical guests.

The schedule includes:

  • May 7: Tina Fey/Ellie Goulding
  • May 14: Ed Helms/Paul Simon
  • May 21: Justin Timberlake/Lady Gaga
  • Ed Helms Pic
  • JT in the Hizzy

Fey will actually be pregnant during her stint; Helms will be promoting The Hangover 2; and Timberlake? He'll just be dreamy and hysterical.

Forget the 30 Rock quotes she pens every week.

Tina Fey delivered two words during an interview with Oprah this week that will be far more memorable than anything Jack Donaghy has ever uttered: I'm pregnant.

Tina Fey and Jeff Richmond

During a chat that will air on April 12, the actress admitted she's five months along with her and husband Jeff Richmond's second child. Their first, a girl named Alice, is five years old.

Fey appeared on the program to promote her new memoir, Bossypants, which went on sale this week. We're so happy for the funniest woman on television!

30 Rock creator, executive producer and star Tina Fey is synonymous with funny. Her hit show and its cast members are perennial award show mainstays.

Her NBC comedy counterpart, Jenna Fischer, may have a more understated role, but The Office quotes she provides can be pretty darn hilarious too.

Which actress dressed best at the 2011 SAG Awards last night? Does Tina's dress clash with the carpet? Would it have hurt Jenna to crack a smile? Vote:

Whether she's delivering Parks and Recreation quotes, reading the fake news on SNL or giving birth to cute kids, Amy Poehler has always been a THG favorite.

Can Amy's red carpet fashion compete with a couple of NBC counterparts? You be the judge. In the middle, we have Tina Fey, perennial Emmy winner for 30 Rock.

Finally, we have Jenna Fischer, who looked just glamorous. If The Office star wore this to Dunder Mifflin, even less work would get done ... if that's possible.

Barack Obama wasn't a big fan of Sarah Palin's uninformed criticism of his nuclear arms treaty with Russia this week.

But at least the President, along with all rational human beings, can take solace in Palin's existence for one reason only: it's enabled Tina Fey to deliver the best satire television has seen in years.

The actress was at it again last night, impersonating the former Alaskan Governor (and current professional, paid speaker of BS) on Saturday Night Live. Fey introduced viewers to The Sarah Palin Network, which is comprised of the following programs:

  • Are You Smarter Than a Half-term Governor?
  • Tea Party Wheel of Fortune (Example of a puzzle: Obama is a Terrist)
  • Hey, Journalist, I Gotcha! (Where "I re-edit my interviews with journalists to make it look like they were the ones that were woefully unprepared.")
  • Man in a Helicopter with a Sniper Rifle vs. Wild

It takes a lot to upstage Justin Bieber on the show, but Fey did it with this great skit. Watch below.

It was a hilarious date night for many couples and celebrities last night, as Tina Fey and Steve Carell premiered their new comedy, aptly titled Date Night.

The movie centers around a pair of married individuals (Fey and Carrell) who end up on an adventurous evening after they take the reservation of someone else at a restaurant. It also features Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg's hot body.

While Carell and Fey were the stars at last night's New York City premiere, they weren't alone on the red carpet.

Fey's 30 Rock co-star, Alec Baldwin, showed up, as did Rachael Ray and her husband. Naturally. Click on the photos below to enlarge images of various celebs at the event:

It's a battle of NBC comedy stars who aren't trying to force each other off the air - and who don't have gigantic chins and/or oddly-formed red haircuts!

The struggling network should be proud to be represented by funny, pretty and drama-free women Tina Fey and Jenna Fischer at the Golden Globes.

But who looked better in their dress (and with their umbrella)?

It's like comparing 30 Rock quotes and The Office quotes in a way. Both are terrific, but you probably have a favorite. Vote in THG's survey below ...

  • Tina (30) Rocks!
  • Sweet, Sweet Jenna

Which star looked better last night?

"You can point any kind of laser at my face, but I don't think Botox is for me," Tina Fey says in the November issue of Harper's Bazaar. "I think it is bad."

Spoken as only a career comedienne can.

Fey also adds that certain celebrities who have "too much" Botox "look like their faces are full of candles - a shiny, shiny face. Festive. A holiday candle."

Still, she has concerns about her looks. Sometimes, on the set of 30 Rock, the entertainer of the year tells cameramen to "frame me from the waist up."

"If there is a shot that's bad, I can take it out," she adds.

"That is why L.A. is so bad, because they take your picture from any side. That is why people in L.A. maintain 360-degree fitness. I don't have the time."

Tina Fey looks terrific, and is entertaining as always.

A typical day for Fey, who has a daughter, Alice, 4, with her husband, composer Jeff Richmond: "Work, come home, play, kid bounce, work again, go to bed."

Lately, though, Fey says she has been making time for "shopping." Says the Saturday Night Live alum, "I am no longer the least stylish woman in the room."

As for her trademark glasses, recognizable from 30 Rock and in many SNL Tina Fey videos, "I don't wear them very much in real life because I need them to see only far away. And I don't wear them when I am dressed up, because I look like Tootsie."

Tina and many hilarious 30 Rock quotes return October 15.

In case her spot-on impressions of Sarah Palin, along with her Emmy Award-winning performance on 30 Rock, weren't enough to prove that Tina Fey is the funniest woman on the planet, consider this:

She made us laugh at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night.

It certainly wasn't the awkward, stiff host that elicited guffaws from our staff.

Instead, it was Fey's admission that her three-year old daughter is responsible for many hilarious 30 Rock quotes, most notably Liz Lemon's catchphrase: "I want to go to there."

In the clip above, Fey also previews a possible future catchphrase for a character on the sitcom.

Evidently, after asking her child if she were finished with a lollipop a couple weeks ago, the actress' daughter replied: "No, mommy, I wanna have a lot of suck tonight."

Fey thinks it's a good line for Tracy Morgan. We agree. Or maybe for Megan Hauserman.
