Make some room, Linsanity. Welcome, Tebowmania.

Following last week's blockbuster trade, the new face of the New York Jets was introduced at a press conference yesterday, and boy, Tim Tebow is happy to be here.

The quarterback is excited, you might even say.

Seriously, if you devised a Tim Tebow press conference drinking game involving the word "excited" or its derivations, you're likely extremely hung over right now.

He's excited to help the team win. He's excited to work with Rex Ryan. He's even excited to play with Mark Sanchez. Guess it's better than being maudlin, right?

With Tim Tebow traded to the Jets, the New York team now has two bona fide hunks at the quarterback position in the former Broncos star and Mark Sanchez.

Their skills at said position? Inconsistent, even marginal at times. They may be the two most overrated players in the league in terms of publicity-to-skill ratio.

That's neither here nor there, though!

Tebow, 24, and Sanchez, 25, give the Jets the most star wattage in the league, even if they vie for the right to finish second to the Patriots in the AFC East.

Who will start come training camp? A question for another time. Who's the bigger hunk at QB for Gang Green? That question we leave for you to decide NOW!

And the Winner is?

Which young quarterback for the New York Jets is hotter, Mark Sanchez or Tim Tebow? Cast your vote in this bona fide hunk-off now! View Poll »

Tebowmania is headed to the Big Apple.

Not even 48 hours after signing Peyton Manning, the Denver Broncos traded fan favorite Tim Tebow to the New York Jets for a fourth-round draft pick.

The deal sends one of the league's most popular players to its biggest market and spells the end to one of the wildest chapters in NFL offseason history.

Drafted by the Broncos in 2010, Heisman winner Tebow was promoted into the starting lineup ahead of struggling Kyle Orton six games into last season.

Play Tim Tebow!!!

Despite unorthodox mechanics, Tebow's penchant for late-game heroics helped propel Denver to an AFC West title and a playoff win against Pittsburgh.

Tebow also helped energize a Broncos fan base that was becoming increasingly frustrated at the franchise’s ineptitude over the previous 10 seasons.

The devout Christian's religious views and on-field prayers sparked controversy and even some ridicule, but also endeared him to millions of fans.

Still, be didn’t show enough promise as an NFL quarterback to convince Broncos management that he had the potential to become a franchise player.

Denver was willing to go into 2012 with Tebow starting, but when Manning was released by Indianapolis earlier this month, the Broncos moved quickly.

On the Jets, Tebow will theoretically compete for the starting job with Mark Sanchez. Tebow has three years left on a five-year, $9.8 million contract.

Tim Tebow is out as the starting quarterback in Denver, as the Broncos are on the verge of inking Peyton Manning to a contract.

The former Heisman Trophy winner may soon be sent to Jacksonville, but Jockey wants Tebow to know he'll always have a job as a model, even if he fails as a successful signal caller.

Tim Tebow Jockey Ad

Despite the uncertain status of its most famous client, the clothing company has issued the following statement:

"Jockey brought Tim Tebow on as a spokesperson before he took his first professional snap and even before he finalized his contract with an NFL team. Jockey supports him 100% and we look forward to continuing our great relationship with Tim."

What do you think the Broncos should do?

NFL free agent quarterback Peyton Manning will play for the Denver Broncos next season, he announced today, instructing his agent to finalize a deal with the team.

That news left the Titans, 49ers and Tim Tebow as disappointed bystanders.

Manning’s move from Indianapolis to Denver could make the Broncos the team to beat in the AFC West, assuming Manning returns to full health in 2012.

Denver is willing to take the risk, despite Manning missing the entire 2011 season, in which Tebow emerged as a breakout star of sorts for the Broncos.

Manning and Tebow

Manning’s deal is huge for a 36-year-old - it's expected to be worth $90 million over five seasons, according to a report by Mike Klis of The Denver Post.

His signing likely means the end of the road in Denver for Tebow, who led the team to the playoffs and was assumed to be the Broncos’ No. 1 QB in '12.

Manning’s arrival obviously changes all that. Denver now appears set to try to trade Tebow (if anyone has interest in the bad, yet exciting quarterback).

Team President and Broncos great John Elway backed Tebow late last year and into the start of this offseason, but still sought a veteran QB to push him.

Instead, the veteran QB they signed is possibly the best to ever play the position, so it will likely push the popular Tebow right out of the Mile High City.

It's a tough situation, but as problems go, having to deal Tebow is a good one to have. Today, “Manning Watch” is over. “Tebow Watch” has just begun.

Tim Tebow as The Bachelor?

It's been talked about, by host Chris Harrison no less. This week, Chris asked the Denver Broncos star whether he would be interested in being the star of the show.

"They always say yes, but it never happens," Harrison said. "He did say yes ... but he would never do it. He has a little job called quarterback for at least another year."

Tebow said he'll pass, so to speak, via Twitter: "Haha rumors can be crazy! Even though I've watched the show before, I'm definitely not gonna be on the Bachelor."

Could you imagine if Tim Tebow were The Bachelor, though?

The dates he would take the women on would be amazing:

  • Listening to Taylor Swift and sipping water at home
  • Tebowing at various national landmarks
  • Hanging out with his family
  • Playing board games
  • Watching game film

NOTE: For the latest developments on the wild, crazy current season, which Tebow most definitely would not approve of, follow this link for The Bachelor spoilers.

This pairing almost makes too much sense, doesn't it?

Witnesses tell The New York Post that Tim Tebow and Taylor Swift struck up a conversation at a pre-Academy Awards party on Friday night, following it up with dinner two evenings later at at Toscanova Italian restaurant in Century City.

"After dinner, he walked her out," a source says. "Then he walked back in to join two other people. I think they may both have been with their agents."

Granted, the meal doesn't sound too romantic, but Taylor has been burned by so many men in her past. Tebow is a virgin, had the good sense to reject Kim Kardashian and might be the son of God.

This couple has to happen.

According to a new report, Tim Tebow recently used his stiff arm for something other than a quarterback keeper.

The latest issue of The National Enquirer quotes an insider who claims Kim Kardashian has a "big crush on Tim,” finding him both "handsome" and to be someone that possesses "really strong values."

  • Kim Kardashian for Haiti
  • Tim Tebow at the ESPYs

Moreover, the reality star's PR team is aware “Kim needs to rehab her image" and "dating someone like Tim Tebow would certainly do the trick.”

So, when will see these two out on the town? When should we start considering a nickname of Tardashian or Kebow for the couple? A quarter to never, according to another source.

“Although flattered, he’s not interested,” this mole says, citing the fact that Kim has had sex on camera more often than Tim has sex in his life as an example of the twosome's contrasting values.

Tebow, whose Broncos were eliminated by the Patriots in the second round of the NFL playoffs, has also been linked with Lindsey Vonn.

John Parr, whose "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)" became an international rock smash in the 1980s, has reworked its lyrics in honor of Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow.

Seriously. Parr personally recorded "Tim Tebow's Fire" (below).

"I was inspired by Tim Tebow, so I wanted to modify the lyrics … in his honor of the way he lives his life as being a great example," Parr told FOX31 Denver.

Words fail us, but fortunately Parr has us covered. Listen:

The great thing about this "St. Elmo's Fire" cover is that it's not really a cover. It sounds just like Parr's title track to the 1985 Demi Moore-Rob Lowe film.

In "Tim Tebow's Fire," he sings, "I can see a new horizon underneath the blazin' sky. I'll be where the eagle's flyin' higher and higher. Gonna be your man in motion, all I need's my Broncos team. Take me where my future's lyin,' Tim Tebow's Fire."

They're still going to be demolished by New England, but amen.
