The occasional lesbian showed up at Bravo's A-List Awards this weekend, arm-in-arm with someone clearly immune to STDs and/or embarrassment Corgan. The musician has previously been linked to Courtney Love, causing us to ask:

A pregnant Heidi Montag may be April Foolery at its finest, but this bizarre BFF pairing was actually spotted on March 28, so it must be legit. And odd.

Meghan McCain and Tila Tequila, the trashy bisexual reality TV star, shared an early lunch Saturday at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.

"You could totally see the girls getting along," a source who observed the strange pairing said. "They seemed to be longtime friends."

During their hour-long lunch, the former nude MySpace mainstay and the daughter of U.S. Senator and former presidential hopeful John McCain were overheard chatting "about everything from politics to pop culture," adds the source.

How did these two possibly hook up?

Rumor has it Tila Tequila, 27, read somewhere that Meghan McCain, 24, looks up to her and burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese for some reason.

"They found each other on Twitter and got in touch shortly after," the source tells Us Weekly. "They definitely seemed to be fast friends."

Of course. No word on whether Meghan McCain's weight was an issue the two discussed at lunch, or whether they will become more than friends. Come on, it's Tila Tequila. We had to go there. You know you were thinking it.

Without Courtenay Semel to make out with in public, Tila Tequila has been desperate for attention recently.

Fortunately, Christian Bale was caught on tape dropping F-bomb after F-bomb on the set of Terminator Salvation. As a result, Tequila has found a new way to make headlines. She told Us Weekly:

"He can talk to me like that any time! I love him."

Of course you do, Tila. We're shocked you haven't expressed love for Osama bin Laden yet.

Remember the days where a woman simply had to be railed on tape by her boyfriend in order to achieve fame and fortune? That notion is so 2007, as the past calendar year proved that the public is almost immune to simple heterosexual sex, no matter how explicit.

As a result, aspiring celebrities had to go the extra mile in 2008... by grabbing the extra breast!

Indeed, faux lesbianism has been all the rage, highlighted by off-and-on pretend couple Tila Tequila and Courtenay Semel. As soon as one of these unattractive specimens go a month without making headlines, you can be sure to catch them groping one another in public, eyes searching for the nearest photographer.

Other celebs that supposedly traded in penis for vagina - at least for the duration of a headline being written about the switch - in 2008 included Aubrey O'Day, Brittny Gastineau and, of course, Lindsay Lohan.

The outbreak of temporary carpet munching has grown so severe that MTV has created a reality series out of it. The Ikki Twins, Rikki and Vikki, wouldn't have jobs at the moment if they didn't consider women among potential suitors on A Double Shot at Love.

Will this trend continue in 2009? Millions of guys certainly hope so!

Tila Tequila can't decide between men and women.

But reality TV's most famous bisexual does know which gender she'd like to make her own someday:

"I definitely want to adopt a boy," Tila told Us Weekly at a book signing for Hooking Up With Tila Tequila in New York City earlier this week, adding:

"Sometimes I think, like, let's just run away from Hollywood and adopt a son, and do my own thing. But... I want to make at least another billion dollars before I adopt children so I can just focus on them. Like, just move to an island and give them everything."

Another billion? If that much money is available to someone that poses naked and makes potential suitors eat cow testicles, then how can we not bail out the auto industry?!?

Tequila was also asked about Rikki and Vikki Ikki, as these twins have taken the bisexual torch from Tila and are starring in the MTV reality show, A Double Shot at Love.

Still, she added: "Best of luck!"

Tila Tequila has been replaced.

Starting tonight, MTV is airing A Double Shot at Love, a dating series that focuses on the Ikki Twins and is a take-off on Tequila's original show, A Shot at Love.

Still, Tila doesn't look fazed by the snub, as the rarely-clothed star is seen below promoting her new book. Its helpful title? Hooking Up with Tila Tequila.

Following rumors that Tila hooked up with Justin Long in Las Vegas, this celebrity gossip guru proved adept at selling mystery over admission.

"What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, and it should just stay there," Tequila told Us Weekly about the supposed make out session. "I don't remember anything."

This could be due to diminished brain capacity, too much alcohol on the night in question or - most likely - both.

As for her romance with Courtenay Semel?

"Everything is cool," Tequila said. "We made a pact to not talk about our relationship anymore. It tends to cause a lot of strain in our relationship."

Okay then. What about choosing between men and women, Tila?

"I just go with my feelings. If one day you are into someone and the next day, you meet someone else that you are into, just go with what your heart wants. There is no rules. I follow my heart."
