Rachel Uchitel has repaid much of the money Tiger Woods paid her to keep quiet in the aftermath of their affair, and may sue Gloria Allred as a result.

Huh? Relax. It's even more confusing than you think.

In early 2010, Allred negotiated a $10 million settlement for Rachel, who had planned to hold a news conference and detail her relationship with Tiger.

The mammoth payoff included a confidentiality agreement, which prohibited Rachel Uchitel from talking about Tiger. Ever. Here's where it gets dicey:

The confidentiality clause works the way you think it does. If Rachel spoke about Tiger, she'd have to pay back the money, as well as potential damages.

Several months ago, Tiger's lawyer, Jay Lavely, contacted Gloria regarding Rachel's appearance on Celebrity Rehab, saying they planned to sue over it.

While she never talked specifically about Tiger on the VH1 show, Uchitel's reality show treatment "addiction to love" royally pissed off Woods' camp.

Rachel felt strongly she had not violated the agreement, but Gloria convinced her she would lose if Tiger's attorney pursued the case against her.

Before he began dating Elin Nordegren, Jamie Dingman and Rachel Uchitel were an item. Yes, the same woman whose affair with Tiger Woods was exposed in November 2009, sending him fleeing in his car and ... you know the rest.

Didn't see that one coming, did you?

Jamie Dingman, whose dad is a billionaire tycoon, has been dating Elin Nordegren for several months. Prior to Elin, Jamie and Rachel dated fairly recently - there was even some overlap with Tiger, which Jamie was aware of!

When Rachel Uchitel was getting more serious with Tiger, Jamie reportedly joked. "That's okay. I'll date his wife, Elin." It gets weirder still:

At the time the Tiger scandal broke, they were living together in Miami! 

One last bizarre connection comes from Jen Madden, the girl who sold the Woods story. Staying at her friend's home, she learned about Rachel Uchitel's affair with Tiger when she overheard her talking about it ... with Jamie.

No clue if Elin Nordegren is aware of any of this, but if she's not, we can't imagine it's going to go over too well when someone clues her in.

Then again, maybe it's a little bit of payback.

Tiger Woods and his agent promised a HUGE announcement earlier today. Sadly, the announcement of Tiger's announcement was the most exciting part.

The golf great and Mark Steinberg had everyone buzzing. Would Tiger announce that he'd miss all of 2011? His retirement from the game completely?

That he required additional surgery? That he was getting rid of that sweet goatee? That he impregnated Rachel Uchitel and/or Joslyn James?

No to all. They're moving to a new management company. Whoop dee $h!t.

Winless since '09 and recovering from injuries, Tiger Woods won't be playing in this week's Open Championship. Or announcing anything remotely interesting.

Steinberg and Tiger are leaving IMG and moving to Excel Sports Management. That's it. Why this warranted any sort of announcement at all, who knows.

The over people at Excel are probably out lighting cigars with $100 bills and Ferraris with their commissions. The rest of the people on Earth do not care.

Tiger Woods and his new girlfriend Alyse Lahti Johnston go way back. As in they've known each other for like 15 years. She's 22. It's a little weird.

Alyse Lahti Johntson's stepfather lives next door to Woods in Windermere, Fla., and is an executive with AIG, the agency that represents Tiges.

The golf great's GF drew him crayon drawings before his tournaments to wish him luck when she was just seven years old, sources tell Us.

Let that strange imagery sink in and the inappropriate jokes commence.

"They had photos in their house of their family with Tiger," a pal told the celeb gossip rag. "But Alyse never said she was interested in him!"

Really? Get outta town. Maybe 'cause her age was one digit at the time?

Anyway, that was then. This is now, as they pair began dating after seeing each other at a New Year's function thrown by her stepfather.

"Tiger Woods has been my next door neighbor for 15 years and Alyse has known him all her life," Alistair Johnston told the UK's Sun.

"They are part of the same crowd that are the same age and go to the gym and out to dinner together. Do they spend time together? Yes."

Alyse Lahti Johnston, Tiger Woods' new girlfriend, has reportedly been dating (sorry, "having a good time" with) the golfer for several weeks now.

The pair was spotted cruising on Woods' yacht in North Palm Beach, where Alyse is said to be getting her MBA and trying to make the LPGA tour.

She's the stepdaughter of Alastair Johnston, the former vice chairman of sports management giant IMG, which has represented Tiger since 1996.

Like Tiger, Alyse Lahti Johnston has overindulged her cravings.

Alastair introduced Alyse Lahti Johnston, 22, to Woods, 35. It's not quite clear when that took place, but what is clear is that she's a jock - and badass.

Alyse was busted on suspicion of DUI in October, although she was only charged with reckless driving when the case ended up in court in December.

She pleaded no contest. A judgement was withheld pending completion of a victim awareness program and an educational course in DUI prevention.

Tiger Woods has a new girlfriend in Alyse Lahti Johnston, according to Terez Owens and Radar Online. But he and the 22-year-old aren't getting too serious. Yet.

One of Alyse's pals and former classmates says the following:

"She sent a BBM to a mutual friend of ours saying she didn't consider herself Tiger Woods' girlfriend. They were just having a good time hooking up."

Sounds about par for the course - PUN INTENDED!

Tiger Woods and Alyse Lahti Johnston: It's mostly physical.

"She is a really nice girl, smart and super friendly. And she's also a bit of a wild child. She definitely likes to have fun," the source says of Tiges' gal pal.

After growing up in Ohio and graduating from Ohio State, Alyse Lahti Johnston moved to Windermere, Fla., where her mother and stepfather relocated.

Windermere is home to Tiger Woods, and Alyse's stepdad is Alastair Johnston, a member of the board of IMG. You can see where this is going.

Tiger Woods' ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, just picked up this new mansion in North Palm Beach, Fla., a mere 10 miles away from Woods' own mammoth estate.

Nordegren purchased the oceanfront home in a gated community eight months after finalizing her $100 million divorce from the philandering golfer.

The Swedish beauty and her two kids with Tiger plan to move into the enormous home, rumored to have cost $12 million, in the next few weeks.

This is Elin Nordegren's new home. She's not un-rich.

With the super-private Woods, who actually did a few interviews this week, just down the road, Elin made good on her promise to keep their kids close.

This was supposedly Tiger's biggest stipulation in their split, much more so than money. If nothing else, hopefully they can raise the children amicably.

This is not the Tiger Woods of old. Or even of 2009.

On Thanksgiving night that year, his personal life erupted in scandal. The damage to his family and his golf game took pretty much all of 2010 to play out.

As he looks to turn over a new leaf on and off the course this year, Woods talked about his career, kids and quest for balance on Good Morning America:

In the interview, which was more subdued and serious than his chat with Jimmy Fallon, the golfer talked about how he's adjusting to life as a single dad.

"I'm present with my kids," he said. "That's important, because to be with them each and every time I'm with them, to feel that and be connected to them and to see their joys on their faces ... it's work, there's no doubt. It's tough but enjoyable."

Woods and Elin Nordegren divorced last summer. Think he'll be able to leave the past behind him and forge a new chapter in his life this year?

Tiger Woods made a rare television appearance last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon - the golfer's first such interview since the late 2009 "incident."

We don't have to get into Rachel Uchitel, the car crash and everything else. Fallon started off asking Woods what he's been up to the last year and a half.

"Oh, nothing, nothing... Playing bad golf," the champion said, smiling.

"From a comedian's stand-point and my monologue writers, thank you," Fallon said, speaking for all of us. "Your awful pain, we laughed at your pain."

Even Tiger had to chuckle when Fallon added: "Not even making jokes, it kind of wrote itself. Balls, shaft, holes, foursomes ... it really writes itself!"

Woods had a fairly good time after that, talking about his charitable foundation, his recent top-10 finish and his bachelor pad/backyard golf course.

Later, Woods, Fallon and Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler demonstrated Tiger's new golf video game (ostensibly his reason for being there).

Tiger Woods has been living under a microscope ever since his Thanksgiving night car crash in 2009 brought his many salacious affairs to light.

Things haven't gone well for him on the golf course since, and last weekend in Dubai, his struggles went beyond a mediocre tie for 20th place.

The golfer spit on the 12th green after missing a par putt during Sunday's final round of the Dubai Desert Classic and incurred a fine. Watch:

"The Euro Tour is right – it was inconsiderate to spit like that and I know better. Just wasn't thinking and want to say I'm sorry," he Tweeted.

Infractions such as this bring charges between $400 and $16,000. Of course, Woods earned $3 million for merely showing up to play in Dubai.
