This is one of the stranger, more disturbing videos in recent memory.

With Thomas and Nancy Beatie undergoing divorce procedures - and with the former, known as "The Pregnant Man" for his transgender surgery, filing charges of assault against the latter - TMZ has uncovered a video filmed by Thomas from a few months ago.

In it, we see Nancy awaken from a passed out stupor; drag her daughter around; scream at her husband; and then attack him with what she continually refers to as "my computer."

Thomas is oddly calm throughout most of the incident... until Nancy threatens to drop the laptop into the pool. At this, Thomas completely loses it, crying and screaming, while his daughter does the same. It's all very odd - why is he videotaping? Why is his reaction to the fate of the computer more extreme than his reaction to Nancy putting her hands on their child?

The Beaties are due in court next week to work on custody arrangement and child support payments. This video is expected to be used as evidence against Nancy.

The strange case of Thomas Beatie - an individual born as a woman, but known as The Pregnant Man for undergoing gender reassignment surgeries during pregnancy and soon after - is only growing stranger.

Earlier this month, we reported that Thomas and wife Nancy were separated. Then, it came out that the former has filed divorce documents in which he accuses the latter of assault.

Now, TMZ reports that Nancy Beatie is broke and homeless, often living out of her car.

"I'm house sitting right now, cleaning it for another two days… but I don't know where I'll go after that," Nancy tells the site of her predicament, adding that she's been pawning possessions for cash. "I have some junk gold that I grabbed when I had to leave... broken rings and bracelets, not worth much but it's a start."

Thomas alleges that Nancy is a violent alcoholic who has assaulted him, unprovoked, on numerous occasions. A judge has granted him a restraining order against his estranged wife, limiting her time with the couple's three kids.

A May 7 hearing regarding spousal support and custody will be the next step for the troubled couple.

Thomas Beatie may be separated from wife Nancy, but the drama between the self-proclaimed Pregnant Man and his mate of nine years is far from over.

Based on court documents obtained by TMZ, Beatie has filed for divorce and claims in the papers that Nancy attacked him on various occasions.

In February of this year, for example, she allegedly cursed Thomas out and shoved him because he tried to stop her, while "visible intoxicated," from driving the couple's three kids to daycare.

"She hit me in the crotch," Beatie says on a 911 call made in regard to this incident.

A month before this encounter, Thomas says Nancy woke up and simply started punching him.

"This night, like every night, [Nancy] hovers over me, threatening me with physical and emotional abuse," he writes in the court documents.

Nancy - who was barred by a judge last month from going near Thomas or the kids - has responded by filing her own papers, which deny Beatie's allegations and state that he's the one who has gotten physical with her. Another hearing is scheduled for May 7.

Thomas Beatie - known around the country at The Pregnant Man because he's undergone numerous gender reassignment procedures, yet has also given birth on two occasions - revealed this week that he and wife Nancy are separated.

Beatie made the announcement during a taped interview on the syndicated TV show The Doctors. It will air May 9.

"Like all marriages, we have our ups and downs, and we're going through a rough patch right now. At the moment, we're separated," Beatie says on the series.

The couple rose to prominence in 2007 after Thomas legally changed his status to male... and then became pregnant. He recently completed the transformation, adding during the interview that the final surgery was a success, not that his wife would know it.

"Nancy hasn't seen the new me yet," says the 38-year old.

In an recent interview with Barbara Walters, the transgender individual says he's in his first trimester.

Beatie tells Walters that he didn't go back on the male hormone testosterone after his daughter, Susan, was born. The reason? He wanted to have another baby.

"I feel good," said Beatie, who is due on June 12. "I had my checkups with my hormone level, as far as the HCG. And everything is right on track."

We're happy for Thomas Beatie and her wife. But we refuse to refer to someone with female sex organs as a "man." Aren't those body parts exactly what distinguishes one gender from the other?

Thomas Beatie - falsely referred to as the "pregnant man" when he's actually just the first legally transgender male to give birth - welcomed a daughter into the world three weeks ago.

Already, he told People, little Susan Juliette is "easygoing and mellow and intelligent."

On the night of June 29, Beatie squeezed out (through his vagina because, as noted above, he isn't a man!) a nine-pound, five-ounce girl.

"She's so precious, I just can't stop staring at her," Thomas said in his first interview since he and wife Nancy returned with their baby from Bend, Oregon's St. Charles Medical Center. "Just holding her is the best feeling in the world."

Beatie - who received national attention when he appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in April - was born a female, but had his breasts surgically removed and legally changed his gender to male.

Due to the appearance of such a masculine-looking individual with a baby bump, Beatie has been the talk of tabloids for months. In reality, it's not particularly astounding:
