The Harlem Shake is everywhere these days.

Even The Simpsons! Yup, animated style!

The bizarrely awesome dance-video phenomenon has grown so popular that the Fox hit had to produce its own Harlem Shake video, the "Homer Shake."

Unlike most videos of this meme, there's actually a new soundtrack, with the voice of Homer on "vocals." The Simpsons quotes + Harlem Shake = gold.

Other than that, it's pretty boilerplate.

It starts with a single character (Maggie) feeling the beat of the Baauer club hit, before being joined by many others in various stages of seizures/undress.

What's your favorite Harlem Shake video? Check out just a few of the many, many parodies sweeping the Internets after the jump and tell us!

Still reeling from the 2012 presidential election, C. Montgomery Burns of The Simpsons fame took a few minutes to explain the upcoming Fiscal Cliff this week.

You have to give the tycoon credit for moving on in the wake of Mitt Romney's defeat to bring America up to date on January 1's impending financial calamity.

Unfortunately, that doesn't exactly go as planned either, according to Smithers and his Insta-polls ...

After more than 500 episodes, The Simpsons creator Matt Groening has finally answered an age-old question: Where is Springfield, the anywhere-in-America town where Bart and Lisa have been in elementary school for over two decades?

Oregon.

Groening tells the Smithsonian Magazine that Homer and family call that state home as he once did: "Springfield was named after Springfield, Oregon," he says.

"When I was a kid, the show Father Knows Best took place in the town of Springfield, and I was thrilled because I imagined it was the town next to Portland, my hometown."

"When I grew up, I realized it was just a fictitious name. I also figured out that Springfield was one of the most common names for a city in the U.S."

"In anticipation of the success of the show, I thought, 'This will be cool; everyone will think it's their Springfield.' And they have."

There have been clues dropped here and there, but one of the most easily identified links between fictional Springfield and real Springfield is Homer's job.

A former nuclear power plant was located for years in Rainier, Oregon, north of Portland. Who knew that was the source of so many great Simpsons quotes?

FUN FACT: There are 28 Springfields in the U.S., but that's actually only the fourth-most common town name behind Greenville, Franklin and Clinton!

Lady Gaga has signed on for a guest spot on The Simpsons, according to EW. Better yet, she's already recorded the voiceovers for her role this season!

In “Lisa Goes Gaga,” the singer makes a pit stop in Springfield after learning that it’s teeming with low self-esteem. There, she winds up trying to cheer up a dejected Lisa through the power of speech, song, and a flash mob.

Obviously. Here's Lady Gaga recording her lines yesterday:

Gaga admits her visit to Simpsons HQ was “a little nerve-wracking.”

“I make music, but I don’t do voice-overs every day of the week, and the characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humor,” she tells EW.

“That’s what I was trying to focus on, not putting on a character too much. Really I tried to just be as sincere as I could with the lines.”

Sounds like it was worth it in the end:

“I would say this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done,” says Gaga. “My dad’s probably going to do 80 backflips when the episode comes out.”

She rules. We can't wait for The Simpsons quotes this produces ...

Move over, controversial Meghan McCain Twitter photo.

You don't have the market on unexpected voluptuous Internet bombshells cornered just yet! There's a certain Springfield housewife on your heels!

Last week, we broke the news that Marge Simpson Playboy pics - yes, Marge Simpson Playboy pics - would be gracing the magazine's new issue.

Now, the men's magazine has released excerpts from its exclusive interview with the blue-haired babe. Some sound a lot like The Simpsons quotes.

Here's what Homer's wife has to say about ...

Her family’s reactions to her Playboy pictorial: “Homer said he was intrigued because he had never heard of [Playboy]. The notion of women posing in the buff was completely foreign to him. Wasn’t it sweet of him to lie?"

"Lisa said it was empowering to see a woman in control of her own body. Wasn’t it sweet of her to lie? Bart will never learn about this under any circumstance.”

How she knew Homer was the one: “Well, when the doctor said I was pregnant, I heard a voice saying ‘That’s the man you’re going to marry.’"

"The voice was my mother’s.”

Her secret to a successful relationship: “Homer and I have one rule that has worked incredibly well: Never go to bed hungry.”

Advice she gives Lisa regarding men: “I always tell my Lisa she should marry the man who loves her.  It doesn’t matter if he’s losing his hair or is overweight or is at a bar every night ... or if he forgets your birthday and anniversary."

"All that matters is that nothing means anything to him but you.”

Advice she gives Bart regarding women: “I say, ‘You won’t meet any girls in prison, which is where you seem to be headed.’”

What she prides herself on doing around the house: “Searching for copies of [Playboy] and throwing them away…they’re usually in the bedroom.”

As for what Marge Simpson's Playboy photos will look like? Well, if these pictures from The Simpsons are any indication ... um, all natural?
