Are you ready for JONAS?

In May, all three Jonas Brothers - Nick, Joe and Kevin - will star on a half-hour Disney Channel series called JONAS. Fans of these young stud muffins can look forward to new music, special guest stars and and serious high jinks.

''We're trying to cook Mom a special birthday cake,'' Kevin, wielding a fire extinguisher as Joe and Nick look on, told Entertainment Weekly about the scene below. ''We destroyed our family's home videos, so we have to find ways to make up those memories.''

The Jonas Brothers are set to leave Camp Rock behind.

Reportedly, the trio of pop stars - along with little brother Frankie, pictured below - have signed on to make their big screen debut in Walter The Farting Dog. Seriously, that's the name of the movie.

Frankie Jonas is sometimes referred to as "Bonus Jonas." That's hilarious.

The film, which is based on a series of books by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray, casts the teen stud muffins as musicians whose sickly great-aunt asks them to care for her smelly canine pal; it's scheduled to begin shooting in Spring 2009.

"By the time they've driven the dog home, everybody's head is out the window of the family station wagon," said Peter Farrelly, half of the famous Farrelly Brothers directing team, who may actually direct the project. "But Frankie has a serious sinus problem and doesn't notice the stench coming from Walter."

Having already conquered America, Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brothers headed to London after the MTV Music Awards earlier this week.

The teen sensations posed for pictures on the streets of Great Britain, as they could likely hear screams from fans back home as they did so.

Not even rain can dampen the mood of Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brothers.

Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift may not publicly confirm they're an item, but come on, it couldn't be more obvious that they're hitting it. Case in point:

MTV VMA host Russell Brand said the Jonas Brothers personally requested to be introduced by Taylor Swift at Sunday's show, where they'll perform.

Russell Brand described the Jonas Brothers — who are up for Video of the Year for the song "Burnin' Up" — as "God's favorite virgins" and said that their performance "will make the concept of an afterlife seem tame by comparison."

Wonder if Reg Jones thought the same thing after he deflowered America's favorite non-virginal virgin at the time, 14-year-old Britney Spears.

Either way, Taylor Swift is totally into Joe Jonas, calling an August 28 double date (with Joe, Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez) "really cool."

These brothers with the last name Jonas will begin filming a new Disney Channel series in mid-September, of which Joe excitedly says:

"It's going to be about us as a band but dealing with all the normal things, like trying to take out the trash and how not to get hounded by fans. This is going to be a funny show, and it's going to be a great cast."

If that cast includes Joe Jonas, how can it not be?!

Demi Lovato thinks that Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas look like a great couple. Just one problem: They aren't one.

"They would look good together, but too bad they're not," the young singer told Us Weekly this weekend at the Arthur Ashe Kids' Day Concert in New York City. "They just get along."

Lovato added that she isn't dating anyone, either, while stating that any future beau would need to be approved by the more famous trio in the world.

"They always have my back," she said of The Jonas Brothers. "Kevin is always like, 'Do you need anything? Water?' I'm like, 'No, I'm fine... They really help me out with things I am going through."

Britney Spears humilated herself at last year's MTV Video Music Awards. But it looks like she'll have a shot at redemption when this year's ceremony airs on September 7.

The troubled singer is nominated for the show's top honor – video of the year – for the hilarious, celebrity gossip-based song, "Piece of Me." The video was also nominated by the singer's fans for best pop video and best female video.

Other nominees in the category include:

• The Jonas Brothers' "Burnin Up"
  
• Chris Brown's "Forever"
  
• The Pussycat Dolls' "When I Grow Up"
• The Ting Tings' "Shut Up and Let Me Go"

If Spears wins, it will be her first Video Music Award ever, despite having been nominated 16 times.

If so, you'd be well-served to read on. During yesterday's appearance on MTV's Total Request Live, all three members of The Jonas Brothers shared thoughts about their ideal girlfriend with the audience:

Joe Jonas: "If they are nagging and annoying, you're like, 'Go away.'"

Kevin Jonas: "We're not ever really with people, 'cause we're always traveling. And you get on the phone and they're like, 'My day is awful, blah,' and you're like, 'This is not what I need right now!' "

Nick Jonas, who didn't mention ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus, or current flame Selena Gomez, by name: "They have to be good to their moms."

Got all that, ladies? You could date a member of The Jonas Brothers if you: Don't nag. Don't annoy. Don't talk about your problems and be nice to your mother.

Kevin Jonas is our new hero.

Prior to a concert at Madison Square Garden last night - during The Jonas Brothers were joined on stage by Demi Lovato - Kevin helped fuel the fire of a feud that just won't die.

As you can see below, Jonas is wearing a shirt that reads Team Demi and Selena, an allusion to the singers' rivalry with fellow young Disney star, Miley Cyrus. It's no surprise Nick would choose the side of Lovato and Gomez.

Brother Nick is rumored to be dating Selena.
