The women from Jersey are back and worse than ever. I thought Danielle Staub being gone might lighten the drama. Boy, was I wrong.

The night opened with a Teresa Guidice's brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa's son's christening. It's a christening. What could happen? Well, if you ever get invited to a Giudice / Gorga family event be sure to bring your protective gear. 

But let's rewind. As we first met Melissa, Teresa told us that she and her sister-in-law were not the best of friends.

Who knew Teresa had such a gift for understatement. These two women did nothing but snark at one another's families, homes and parties, each one thinking they were above the other. Quite honestly I'm trying to figure out which one is lower.

There were moments I almost felt sorry for Teresa. Melissa and her sisters suspiciously resembled Cinderella's evil step-sisters when they spoke about Teresa.

They absolutely delighted in tearing the woman down.

Now, what's up with Joe and Teresa's bankruptcy? Teresa still seems clueless about what's happening. Somehow they still have a huge, sprawling mansion of a home.

They're driving their Mercedes, have personal hair dressers for Teresa and the kids, and their daughter has a walk in closet for her purses.  The only change seemed to be that Joe was shlepping pizzas and Teresa's writing books.

If these folks have achieved debt forgiveness and are still living like this I think I'm going to be ill.

Depressing times are ahead on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. At least for Teresa Giudice.

Previewing the new season of the Bravo hit, which premieres on May 16, Giudice said "sad" times are ahead for her and her immediate family. The reason? New cast addition, sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.

"You're going to see a totally different side of me this season," Teresa told E! News. "It's really sad. I cry a lot on the show and it's very hard for me."

The season will focus heavily on Teresa's damaged relationship with her brother, Joe, which fell apart after he married Gorga.

On the upcoming premiere, an all-out brawl takes place during Melissa and Joe's christening shindig for their son, all due to nasty words exchanged with Teresa.

Danielle Staub may be gone, but the drama will still be boiling over every week on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The series returns on May 16 with a special 90-minute episode, during which viewers will meet two new cast members, both with connections to Teresa Giudice: Melissa Gorga is the her sister-in-law, while Kathy Wakile is Teresa's cousin.

Bravo has released the first promotional shots of these new stars.

Wakile (right) is married with two children. Her official Bravo profile makes no secret that this is a woman "who loves to party and have a good time."

Gorga, meanwhile, has three kids and is married to a successful real estate developer. You won't believe this, but she does not get along with Giudice at all. Why would Bravo possibly cast her on the show in that case?!?

Thank goodness.

The Real Housewives of D.C. might be no more, but Bravo viewers need not worry that they'll suffer through a decreased number of installments in this franchise. The Hollywood Reporter confirms that casting is underway for The Real Housewives of Toronto.

It's unclear if this series will receive an official greenlight, or if it will air in the United States if it ever does go forward.

But let's hope so, right? As the recent actions of Teresa Giudice prove, these are women that absolutely deserve the fame and money that comes along with their own show.

Teresa Giudice has thrown down with her brother. Therefore, you can only imagine what this Real Housewife of New Jersey would do to a stranger at a bar.

Then again, according to Radar Online, you don't need to imagine: sources tell that site Teresa and her reality show castmates were on vacation in the Dominican Republic in late February when Giudice started spraying champagne everywhere.

A patron's husband did not react well to the rowdy gesture, "got really angry and punched Teresa in the face!”

From there, police confirm a fracas broke out involving many faces familiar to viewers, all of whom were at the establishment: Caroline Manzo and her husband; Jacqueline and Chris Laurita, Teresa and Joe Giudice; Joey and Melissa Gorga; and the Manzo children, Chris, Albie, and Lauren.

Joe Giudice is in trouble with the law yet again.

The Bravo reality star, who was busted for DUI last year and also booked for a number of outstanding warrants, was arrested on Friday for obtaining a phony driver's license. The assistant prosecutor of New Jersey says Joe used his brother's ID to secure a license because his had been suspended due to the drunk driving incident.

If convicted, he could face time in prison.

Where was Teresa when all this went down?

At an appearance in the Poconos, where she Tweeted hours after her husband's arrest: "Hanging out with my honey at Mt Airy Casino. Just finished dinner now we are going to check out the scene."

Note to THG readers: while it may seem as though the following story is too ludicrous to be real, every word is as depressingly true as Angelina Pivarnick's attempt to rap is hilariously awful. Consider yourself warned.

On January 10, Teresa Giudice will host a seminar in New York City that will "teach women how to have it all," according to a press release.

If plan on paying for advice from Teresa Giudice, go find a toilet, drop bills into it and press flush. It will take less time and be equally worthwhile.

In a blurb hyping the event, scheduled for the Learning Annex in midtown Manhattan, Giudice is described as a "hero to modern women” who manages to “make time to make homemade meals” despite her schedule.

According to a shocking new report, there's one thing Joe Giudice likes more than beating up his relatives: strippers.

Indeed, a former dancer at Showoffs strip club in West Orange, New Jersey reveals to Life & Style the startling news that Joe was a regular at that establishment - before it was closed in 2006 due to allegations of prostitution.

"He was always up for a lap dance," says the source. "There was a lot of hanky-panky that went down in the club's basement. If you had money, you could get pretty up close and personal with the strippers."

Another insider claims Teresa's worse half was a "loyal patron" at another strip club in Paterson and had his eye on a Dominican Republic waitress there.

"Joe would always make sure that wherever he was, he could be back in Paterson on a Friday night so he could see her," says someone supposedly in the know.

As previously reported, Tamra Barney and Jeana Keough got into a major fracas at a Real Housewives of Orange County wrap party on Saturday.

But these two weren't the only Bravo reality stars to pretend to fight for the camera this weekend.

According to Radar Online, Teresa Giudice attended the christening of her nephew yesterday afternoon, as hosted by her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and her husband, Joey, both of whom will appear on The Real Housewives of New Jersey next season.

Following the baptism, which Teresa attended alone, the Housewife brought husband, Joe, and the couple's four children to a post-church reception. With cameras now rolling, she went up to congratulate her brother - who reportedly rebuffed the offer, saying:

"Now you want to congratulate me after all this time? Now you want to be nice to me? Your husband didn't even come to the church and you show up an hour late!"

That's the message friends of Teresa Giudice have for Bravo, as they insist this Real Housewife of New Jersey is not holding off on re-signing with the show because she's greedy; she just wants equal pay.

"I think people deserve to know the truth," a pal told Pop Eater. "Bravo pays Caroline and Jacqueline more than Teresa and she isn't holding out because she thinks she's bigger. She just wants to make the same."
