Looks like it was a wrong direction! Taylor Swift and Harry Styles have broken up after only two months together.

Several reports are claiming that Swift and Styles have split because of their busy schedules and constant touring.

However we're also hearing that Haylor got into a very heated argument on their romantic vacation to the British Virgin Islands. After the fight and subsequent split, Swift caught a flight back to the states while Styles stuck around and party hopped over to Richard Branson's private Necker Island.

It looks like Taylor Swift already has material for her next album.

The musician, who is appearing on every talk show ever created this week in promotion of "Red," has reportedly split from her latest boyfriend, 18-year old Conor Kennedy.

"They quietly parted ways a while ago," a friend tells Us Weekly, explaining: "It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They're fine."

Are they, though? This whirlwind romance grew so serious so quickly that talk sprung up of an elopement.

Poor Taylor Swift. Not only did this singer recently lose out on a role in Les Miserables (the part of Eponine went to Samantha Barks instead), but she reportedly lost a new love interest in the process.

According to Us Weekly, Taylor met British actor Eddie Redmayne (My Week with Marilyn) while auditioning for the character in October 2011 and "they hung out in New York City with the movie's execs. Taylor developed feelings for him fast."

Redmayne, who actually attended Eton College with Prince William, felt something for Swift, as well, an insider confirms, meeting up with her on January 24 in London and staying over the next night in Taylor's hotel room. It's unclear why.

Alas, Swift returned home, learned she did NOT win the part in Les Miserables and then received doubly bad news: Redmayne was "not interested in a long-distance relationship," this source says.

Those were the reasons cited by sources for Jake Gyllenhaal's decision to split with Taylor Swift after a few weeks of dating.

But the latest issue of Us Weekly claims to have all the real scoop on the break-up, highlighted by this supposed fact: Jake dumped Taylor over the phone!

If true, this would mark the second time Swift has received sad news in such a manner. Joe Jonas (in)famously broke her heart with a 27-second call a couple years ago.

How is Taylor taking the split? Not well.

At last week's People's Choice Awards, a friend says the singer “was not her usual bubbly self. She didn’t eat anything, seemed very sad and definitely wasn’t having a good time."

At one point, Taylor found Selena Gomez and reportedly and said to her: ‘It’s so good to see you. I need a friend tonight.’”

Good. We were sick of writing the word Swiftenhaal anyway...

Multiple sources confirm that Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift have ended their brief romance.

The couple split prior to New Year's Eve, with Gyllenhaal actually being the one to put the kabosh on a romance that began in October.

"Jake reached out to her and started all of this, but now he’s not acting as interested," an insider tells Us Weekly. "He said he wasn't feeling it anymore and was uncomfortable with all the attention they got. He also said he could feel the age difference."

After initially attempting to keep its fling private, the duo was spotted out multiple times in December. Most witnesses said they looked very much into each other.

"Taylor is really upset," this source added. "We told her not to move so fast with this but she didn't listen."

Hey, at least it will make good material for a future hit song!

Taylor Swift had an incredible 2009. But the year will end on a down note for the singer, or at least for fans of her love life.

Sources confirm that Swift has put the brakes on her relationship with Taylor Lautner, as an insider tells Us Weekly "he liked her more than she liked him."

We've been there, T. Laut. We came to the same realization a few years ago about Jennifer Love Hewitt.

While neither Taylor ever went on record with an official acknowledgment of this relationship, both sides hosted Saturday Night Live over the past couple months and referenced the other in a cute manner. They were also spotted frequently together.

However, "it wasn't really developing into anything, and wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends," a source said. "There was no chemistry, and it felt contrived."

This insider claims the relationship pretty much ended when Lautner flew to Nashville for Swift's birthday party on December 13. It was an example of the lengths he often went to for the singer, yet she "didn't travel much to see him," the friend says.

While Swift is still smarting from her 2008 break-up with Joe Jonas, who dumped her in an infamous 27-second phone call, the future looks somewhat bright for these Taylors.

"They plan to stay friends," says the acquaintance.
