So argue concert promoters for an August 2012 event titled "Capital Hoedown," as they have filed a lawsuit against Taylor Swift because the concert was canceled - but they allege Swift kept her check for $2.5 million anyway.

According to legal documents, Taylor received her huge payout up front. And with the ticket company having to refund $1.8 million worth in tickets, promoters want her to cover that cost.

Meaning, yes, she would still make a tidy $700,000 profit.

Forget the latest man Taylor Swift may or may not be dating.

The Internet has been buzzing this week over the fellow singing superstar this artist may or may not be feuding with.

Following an Us Weekly report last week that Swift and Carrie Underwood don't exactly get along, the Season 4 American Idol winner appeared yesterday on CBS and shot down that rumor.

You may not believe this, but an anonymous source speaking to a supermarket tabloid apparently got it wrong:

There is no beef between Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift.

Last week, Us Weekly claimed the latter is especially angry at the former, citing Underwood's joke on stage at the Country Music Association Awards about Swift's split from Conor Kennedy as a basis for the tension.

But Underwood speaks here to Gayle King of CBS and refutes this rumor as nonsense, even naming her favorite Taylor Swift music selection when promoted.

“I’m sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I’m chasing somebody who doesn’t like me as much as I like him, people love that angle on me," she tells the magazine. "They’re like ‘Oh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys. I never chase boys. They don’t like it!’”

Swift, of course, does pen tracks about those who dump her, however.

Taylor Swift got the 2013 Grammy Awards off to a fun start last night, opening the event with a rendition of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

And mocking ex-boyfriend Harry Styles in the process?

Decked out in all-white, the superstar (who later took home the Best Song Written For Visual Media Award Safe & Sound” from The Hunger Games) appeared to speak in a British accent when uttering the line:

So he calls me up and he's like, 'I still love you,' and I'm like, 'I'm sorry, I'm busy opening up the Grammys...
