Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bieber Lead List of Webby Award Winners
The Webby Awards were doled out recently, honoring the best in viral videos. Aside from Sexy Sax Man not making the list, the winners were deserving.
Zach Galifianakis, Steve Carell and Lisa Kudrow led the charge with the most wins this year, while Justin Bieber won one for taking over the universe.
This year’s overall top winner? Funny or Die. The site co-founded by Will Farrell is certainly more funny than worthy of death, winning eight awards.
The Full List of Celebrity Winners Include:
Zach Galifianakis: Best Web Personality for “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis” (Webby Award); Best Comedy Individual Short or Episode for “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis: Steve Carell” (Webby Award)
Tina Fey and Steve Carell Lead Date Night Premiere Pics
It was a hilarious date night for many couples and celebrities last night, as Tina Fey and Steve Carell premiered their new comedy, aptly titled Date Night.
The movie centers around a pair of married individuals (Fey and Carrell) who end up on an adventurous evening after they take the reservation of someone else at a restaurant. It also features Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg's hot body.
While Carell and Fey were the stars at last night's New York City premiere, they weren't alone on the red carpet.
Fey's 30 Rock co-star, Alec Baldwin, showed up, as did Rachael Ray and her husband. Naturally. Click on the photos below to enlarge images of various celebs at the event:

Steve Carell in Real Life
Don't worry, Steve Carell still works in The Office.
But the actor is expanding beyond the mere pushing of paper products in the new movie, Dan in Real Life.
Carell pushes advice in the comedy, starring as a widowed columnist who can't figure out how to control his own family. The movie does co-star Dane Cook, we're sorry to report, but it still looks funny.
Here's a look at Carell promoting it on Total Request Live this week:

Pair of Former Daily Show Pals Party It Up
Working at The Daily Show is obviously a pain-staking task. You've gotta somehow find humor in the words and action of President Bush.
And what do correspondents receive for such hard work? A pat on the back? Mockery from established programs such as Fox News? Critically-acclaimed success in follow-up projects?
For Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell, it's been at least the latter.
While neither ex-pupil of Jon Stewart won any Emmy Awards Sunday night (Carell lost out to Tony Shaloub for best comedic actor; but his sitcom, The Office, did win for funniest series), the duo still posed for an extreme close-up at a post-show party:
TV Critics Reward Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Steve Carell
Forget waiting around for the Emmy Awards. Television critics gathered over the weekend and dished out praise for a slew of shows and actors.
The most rewarded show at the 22nd annucal Television critics Association Awards was NBC's The Office. It earned a trophy for top comedy series, while Steve Carell was rightfully honoroed as leading comedic performer. He's quite funny.
The Gossip also approved of the program of the year winner, Grey's Anatomy. We'd like Meredith to whine less and Izzie to get naked more, but we're still glued to the screen every week.
Somehow, the Emmys snubbed Lost - but these critics found a way to award TV's most intriguing, well-written hour. It won its second consecutive award for best drama, while Hugh Laurie was the best dramatic actor for his role in House.
While not an official category this year, we'd imagine Oprah Winfrey would've won the award for least gay celebrity. Maybe next year!
