Wherever Snoop Dogg goes, controversy and possible arrests (or rumors of arrests later proven false) are sure to follow. Hey, so it goes when you're Snoop Dogg. This is especially true on the Doggfather's recent European tour with Diddy.

Not to worry, Snoop Dogg hasn't been thrown into the pound this time - but when he made an appearance on a Dutch TV recently, an interviewer asked the noted fan of weed and guns to touch upon the subject of Bill O'Reilly.

Snoop Dogg, Dane Cook

That's up there with Suge Knight on the list of Snoop's favorite topics. After all, the bombastic Fox News blowhard once ambushed Snoop's lawyer / backup singer / ho with accusations that Snoop was selling drugs.

Snoop, who is by all accounts a nice dude, was quick to dispense with all diplomacy in sharing his thoughts about Bill O'Reilly, including a request for O'Reilly to... let's say, perform a certain act, if he were so inclined. See below.

The party went on for Sean Combs Tuesday night.

But following the cancellation of his London concert with Snoop Dogg, the man better known as Diddy says it just isn't the same without his pal.

Doggy Dogg

"I am going through Snoop withdrawal right now. I miss him a lot," Diddy told People Tuesday at a party he threw at Paper in London.

Snoop and Diddy are currently on a European tour and had been expected to play five dates in Britain, but their One Love Peace Tour UK was unexpectedly sidelined.

Why? Snoop Dogg, who was arrested in London last year, was banned from the country.

Hey. These things happen when you're Snoop Dogg.

"We are going to get together in Dublin and we will be back here," Diddy said. "We are going to work everything out so that we can come back because I think we can have a positive impact."

Still, Diddy partied on without his friend, and helped Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas celebrate her 32nd birthday.

"I am 32. It is wonderful. I have had so many experiences so I am happy to be 32," said the singer, accompanied by boyfriend Josh Duhamel.

"You can't have a party on the same night that Diddy is having a party. You can't compete, so expect me to join it. He is a really good friend of mine. He throws the best parties."

He also throws a good left hook, we're told.

Diddy, who has some time to kill in London until his concerts in Dublin on Saturday and Sunday, said he has been hanging out with David and Victoria Beckham. On Monday night, he was spotted out dining with the pair.

"We're both at the top of our game. A lot of people BS us all the time, but we really just check on each other," Diddy said of David Beckham. "He is a real cat. A lot of people you meet, you know, they ain't really real."

Interestingly, that's what a lot of people have said about Posh's huge breasts.

Okay, so that story yesterday about Snoop Dogg getting arrested on drug charges in Sweden was bulls$h!t. Fo' shizzle.

But come on. The guy isn't running at 2:1 in our Jason Wahler jailbird sweepstakes for nothing. This Dogg practically has his own column in the local police blotter. When you hear Snoop gets nailed for drugs, one's first inclination is not to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Doggy Dogg

Nevertheless, we apologize to The Doggfather and his family for perpetuating what turned out to be a false rumor.

It turns out the 35-year-old was indeed questioned by Swedish authorities, but was later released.

Repeat: Unlike Pete Doherty, he was not jailed.

"Contrary to erroneous press reports, Snoop was not arrested in Sweden," a representative of the D-O-Double-G's confirms. "He was questioned and released with no charges filed."

Snoop's rep also says that the chronic-puffing star is excited to continue his successful co-headlining European tour with another star who's had some legal woes of late, Diddy.

All we need is Bobby Brown to join these two and we can start printing up the first batch of "Locked the F*%k Up: European Tour 2007" t-shirts.

On a trip to Sweden, Snoop Dogg was held by police on suspicion of using illegal narcotics but was released after questioning and drug tests, police said.

The artist was heading to a party after a concert in the Swedish capital when police stopped the car he was riding in around 1:30 a.m., said Matts Brannlund of the Stockholm police.

Snoop Dogg on the Red Carpet

He said Snoop Dogg and a female companion (no, it wasn't Mischa Barton) showed signs of drug use and were taken to a police station.

"He was deemed to be under the influence of narcotics," Brannlund said.

A small amount of narcotics also was found in the car, but Brannlund could not specify which kind, and he said it was unclear whether it belonged to Snoop Dogg.

Given his many recent drug arrests, there's a decent chance. Just saying.

"He underwent some tests that will now be sent away for analysis," said Brannlund. "In two to three weeks, we'll know if he was on something."

Snoop Dogg, who's becoming quite a pro at surrendering to police, was released but could face a fine if his drug test comes back positive, Brannlund said.

Sweden has some of the strictest laws in Europe, and even minor drug offenses are punished.

In the U.S., you can often beat the rap if you have a good lawyer or you're a narc.

In any event, the Doggfather, who performed with Diddy in Stockholm's Globe Arena Sunday, was the latest artist to get in trouble following a gig in Sweden.

Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty was fined in southern Sweden after traces of cocaine were found in his blood following a concert at the Hultsfred music festival in June 2006.

All of the above are considered leading contenders for The Hollywood Gossip's Jason Wahler sweepstakes, in which we tried to predict the next star to be given a jail sentence by handicapping the field.

It's unclear whether Snoop already won based on this incident. We're leaning towards no.

It's great to be Snoop Dogg.

Not only does he still live the good life despite getting arrested more times than we can count (a feat one-time pal Marion "Suge" Knight attributes to Snoop being a narc), but the party always seems to find the Doggfather.

Doggy Dogg

Here, Snoop Dogg checks out the eye-popping views at Bondi Beach while filming a new music video for MTV in Sydney on Tuesday. Forget work - the sightseeing in Australia was all this happy Dogg could ask for...

We're forced to censor them here, but those are some huge breasts being displayed for the man by a couple of Aussies. Fo' shizzle, indeed.

He may have been closer to naughty than nice this year, Santa, but we wouldn't mess with Snoop Dogg if we were you. Just bring the rapper whatever he wants.

You do not wanna be lumped in with Suge Knight on the Dogg's Christmas hit list. Trust us on that one.

Snoop Dogg on the Red Carpet

Of course, Santa himself has really been making the rounds recently.

We've seen him with a pissed off - and really thin - Nicole Richie. He's also hung out with Sienna Miller and Katharine McPhee.

Who knows where the ho, ho, ho train will stop next? And, no, for once we aren't talking about Paris Hilton and Britney Spears.

Snoop Dogg has had a rough go of it of late.

The rap star has been busted numerous times for gun and drug possession, but more embarrassingly, the d-o-double-g has been dubbed a narc by the founder of his former record label. Events like this would make mere mortals cower, but the Doggfather is out to show he's still pimpin' in style - still bling blingin' it, still puffin' his leaf, still not lovin' po-lice, and not about to take $h!t from a former colleague.

Doggy Dogg

Yes, Snoop is effectively telling Suge Knight (real name Marion) to bring it. B!tch please. Get down on your knees. Now back the f*%k off lest you gets some of deez. Nutz.

The founder of Death Row Records says there's a reason why Snoop Dogg keeps avoiding jail time despite repeated arrests for drug and gun possession:

He's a narc.

"Snoop is a rat," says rap mogul Suge Knight to Page Six. "He's a police informer. This is the only guy who never goes to jail no matter what. I don't like rats."

Still, jail might be about the safest place for Snoop after the new Rolling Stone hits the stands, in which he disses Suge, whose real name is Marion, something fierce.

"I stepped to him at the BET Awards [four years ago]... and he was more scared than a motherf***er," said Snoop of Suge. The Doggfather also says he "never was afraid" of Suge, and "was afraid I was gonna have to kill him."

With all due respect, Snoop, we hope you're on your way to the FBI to get yourself into the local witness protection program as we speak. No way you're not scared of Suge. He's probably the scariest person alive. We're hesitant to even do a story about him, to be honest. This isn't a wannabe hard-ass like The Game or something.
In an interview with the New York Post, Suge shot back:

"Snoop Dogg has never been in a real fight. When there's trouble, he runs to the police. He throws up and starts crying."

No word on whether Snoop sobbed during his latest arrest Monday on drug and gun charges.

So who's more hard core? You be the judge. Please gaze upon and enjoy this Suge Knight mug shot, along with the more recent Snoop Dogg mug shot. And, why the hell not, while we're at it, take a gander at this 50 Cent mug shot, too.

It's far from all good in the hood these days for Snoop Dogg.

The rapper is in danger of spending more time behind bars than Lindsay Lohan spends on her back. Okay, that's impossible.

Doggy Dogg

But the man is often on the wrong side of the law these days.

Snoop Dogg was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly possessing drugs and a firearm. Detectives from the Burbank Police Department served a search warrant on Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, outside NBC studios in Burbank at approximately 7:30 p.m.

He had just finished an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Police say they found the rapper in possession of cocaine, a firearm and a large amount of marijuana. He was also cited for allegedly having a false compartment in his vehicle.

Still, it could be worse for Snoop. He could've been stuck in this vehicle.

Bail has been set at $60,000 and TMZ.com was told that the lawyer for the rap star expects him to be released sometime this evening.

Perhaps Snoop Dogg was glad he received some time in the slammer recently. It helped him extend his client base.

For what, you may wondering?

Snoop Dogg, Dane Cook

His pimped out, canine clothing line, of course.

Snoop Dogg wants your pup to join the Dogg Pound.

And the rapper should have no shortage of clients, as numerous celebrities such as Jessica Biel make time for their four-legged best friends.

There's competition, however. The awful dog owned by Paris Hilton may choose to be adorned with clothing from the likes of the Notorious D.O.G. (pictured), for example.

Who knows what products rappers will endorse next. Maybe "Gin 'n Juice" boxes for kids? Calm down, Jayden James Federline, that was a joke.

Either way, Snoop has more holiday offerings for fans. His new record, "Tha Blue Carpet Treatment," drops next week. We assume he misspelled one of those words on purpose.

He always has admired the parents of Rachael Ray for their forwaerd thinking.
