We all know how much Miley Cyrus adores dogs.

But who knew she was such a big fan of the Dogg?

Snoop, to be exact, as Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest today on his radio show that she will soon release a collaboration with the swagalicious rapper.

Rita Ora and Snoop Dogg definitely win best/most random pic of the week.

The 22-year-old singer showed off her bikini body in a white two-piece, laying down and relaxing on the sandy beaches of Thailand ... next to Snoop.

Here's Ora and the Dogg/Lion:

"Yesterday was a good day thank you @justwilliet @snooplion #tornapart boooooom," Rita Ora wrote, declining to elaborate on what brought them there together.

File that under headlines you never thought you'd write.

Sure enough, Snoop Dogg stars as Moses in an amazing new video, depicting the Old Testament figure in a star-studded Christmas rap battle against Santa Claus.

As part of the Epic Rap Battles of History series (yes, it's a thing), the big fella touts his contributions to December 25, telling Moses to begat deez nutz, among other gems.

Snoop's response? He's got a new commandizzle for y'all ... Thou shalt not let thy children sit on a grown man's lap at the mall. And on and on it amazingly goes.

You gotta see it to appreciate it:

Snoop Dogg has already endorsed the President, so his political preference is not news ... but this pro/con list for the two candidates is still hilarious.

Predictably, all the "cons" belong to Mitt Romney and not Barack Obama:

Snoop Obama-Romney List

The list was actually created by someone else (@DragonflyJonez) but re-posted by Snoop, and pretty much speaks for itself, even if there are some duplicate entries.

Beyonce and Michelle Obama. Enough said.

Snoop Dogg / Snoop Lion has offered an official endorsement of President Barack Obama, laying out his arguments in concise, not entirely illogical fashion.

At the Toronto International Film Festival, he made the case for giving Obama four more years in an expletive-filled, absurd, yet compelling manner.

"We need to give Obama four more years," he said. "Bush f*%ked up for eight years, so you gotta at least give him eight years. He cleaned half the $h!t up in four years."

Snoop continued his defense of our 44th President, metaphorically accusing Bush of leaving the White House in shambles and handing Obama a real fixer-upper.

"It ain't like y'all gave him a clean house. You gave him a house where the TV didn't work, the toilet was stuffed up. Everything was wrong with the house."

"So he had to come in and get y'all thing together."

Dogg-Lion then pivoted to the Obama administration's success in killing Osama bin Laden, the world's most notorious terrorist, in a covert raid last year.

"And then he went and knocked down our most hated, our most wanted. The one who had our terror warning on red or orange or whatever color it was."

"He went and found him. The one Bush couldn't seem to find, the one who seemed to fly away on the day of 9/11 ... he went and found him. Remember that?"

"Don't forget about that. Now everybody is peaceful and able to move around and have a good time. It's because he made that happen. So please don't forget that."

"So give him four [more] years to get this thing together and finish this deal out. You heard what [Bill] Clinton said? You loved Bill Clinton, didn't ya?"

Did ya?

Snoop Dogg wants us to now call him Snoop Lion. But might we soon be calling him an American Idol judge instead?

Okay, definitely not.

But the rapper did say in an interview today that he'd be up for taking a spot on the Season 12 panel, causing us to at least fantasize over just how hilarious such a scenario would be.

Snoop Dogg in Ireland

With Mariah Carey on board, and names such as Brad Paisley, Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams being bantered about, we can't say we're overly excited for Idol's return in 2013.

But if Snoop were in the mix?!? Come on. Who would not tune in?!?

Do you want to see Snoop Dogg as an American Idol judge?

Snoop Dogg is now the artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg.

The rapper announced last night that he's no longer Snoop Dogg ... or a rapper. He will be focusing on creating reggae music under the name Snoop Lion!

"Rap is not a challenge to me," the Doggfather said Monday at a press event in New York City, explaining his transformation to the ... Lionfather?

Snoop Dogg Twitpic

"With no disrespect to other rappers, but they can't f**k with me in rap," he added.

"I've won every accolade you can in rap, they call me 'Uncle Snoop' in rap. When you're an uncle, it's time to find something new ... I want to feel like a kid again."

Thus, get ready to hear Snoop Lion roar ... or at least drop smooth, Caribbean-influenced beats on his new project called, Reincarnated.

"It's not that I want to become Snoop Dogg on a reggae track," Snoop reiterated. "I want to bury Snoop Dogg, and become Snoop Lion."

"I didn't know that until I went to the temple, where the High Priest asked me what my name was, and I said, 'Snoop Dogg.' And he looked me in my eyes and said, 'No more. You are the light; you are the lion.'"

"From that moment on, it's like I had started to understand why I was there."

It's unclear if he means that metaphorically or literally, but good to know.

Check out Snoop Lion’s debut single, “La La La,” after the jump!

Snoop Dogg has been banned from entering Norway for two years after trying to enter the country and being stopped by customs for cannabis possession.

The star was held at Kjevik Airport while on his way to a music festival, when officials found him with eight grams of the drug. He was fined and released.

The 40-year-old's lawyer said the rapper had no immediate plans to appeal against the ban. His client could "live with the decision," he added.

Snoop was also found at the time to be carrying more cash than is legally allowed and was fined 52,000 kroner (around $10,000) for the offenses.

He went on to perform at Norway's Hove Festival before leaving Norway without incident. He won't be back until Summer 2014 at the earliest.

In January, Snoop was also arrested in Texas after border agents found cannabis on his tour bus. He was released with a citation there as well.

The rapper is currently on tour and is expected to appear at the Catalpa Festival in NYC Sunday. We're guessing there will be weed present.

Norway didn't exactly roll out the red carpet for Snoop Dogg, stopping the rapper for pot possession. Fortunately, it didn't throw the book at him either.

Upon arriving at Oslo airport today in the country's capital, Snoop was held by customs after a canine unit sniffed out a small amount of marijuana.

Knock us over with a feather. This hasn't happened since ... January.

Snoop Dogg Twitpic

Lucky for Snoop, Norway marijuana laws are lax; up to 15 grams is generally considered personal use and punishable by a fine of 5000 kroner ($827).

So no criminal charges for the Doggfather, though he was also found to possess a large amount of cash exceeding legal limits and fined for that too.

Total penalties: 52,000 kroner, or $8,600, which he paid - he was carrying massive amounts of cash after all - and then was sent on his way.

Not a bad day for Norwegian customs officials or Snoop really.

Customs officers who stopped him told the news outlet that he was polite throughout and they were not aware of who he was until he showed ID.

Snoop Dogg, who was in Norway to perform as one of the headliners of the Hove Festival, was asked by VGTV why he was five hours late to the event.

"Man, shut the f--k up," he snapped, in big white shades emblazoned with his moniker. "I'm here… be happy I'm here and ask some real questions."

Point taken.

Rappers Snoop Dogg and Diddy have regularly taken the stage together in their careers. Now their sons may take the field together at UCLA.

Justin Combs, the son of Sean Combs (Diddy), is a high school football standout who has already committed to join the L.A. university this fall.

Combs has been criticized for accepting a full athletic scholarship, given his dad's wealth, but UCLA insists Justin earned the full ride on merit.

His potential future teammate? Snoop's son, Cordell Broadus:

Cordell Broadus, Snoop Dogg

Cordell also received a scholarship offer, despite the fact that he has three years of high school remaining. Dude must have serious game!

Broadus' high school, Diamond Bar H.S., confirmed the news itself on Twitter, "Cordell Broadus (2015) received his first offer from UCLA."

Young Combs is a 5'9", 170-pound cornerback, while Broadus is a 6'2", 185-pound wide receiver. The pair could play together in 2015.

How cool would that be?

Denying his famous father's influence, Combs said when he was signed to the Pac-10 school, "I did this myself. No one did this but me."
