I was shocked to read about her death. I think autopsies should always be conducted regardless of age or suspected cause of death. I saw Brittany when she was on a USO tour while I was deployed in 2003. May God bless her soul.

What a terrible shame....She was a beautiful, talented young lady and a fine actress. This is tragic to say the least. What people need to understand is that these actresses and female celebrities today do is waif themselves down, where the average American woman are a normal size 4,6 8, 10 and beyond. These women in the limelight bring themselves to a point where they are a 00 in size for years and the body can only take so much strain. When you see this kind of thing happening for years it takes it's toll on the heart and other organs. In no way shape or form does any young person deserve to have their lives shortened in any way, however, I think and hope that this will bring light to those aspiring for perfection to keep their bodies healthy and vibrant, not necessarily reaching for that ideal body that is not real and a fantasy made up by those who thrive on it, but to accept for who they are. I wish peace to the family of Brittany Murphy and send my deepest condolences in

I hope her Parents will intervine and have the autopsy done, just to know what might have killed her if it was something other than a heartattack. I pray that they will find the reason for her death, and maybe through her death another one can be prevented. They said her husband was hospitalized and revived in November, so maybe there is something going on here that we doon't know about, but the truth will come out.

I had a stroke at the age of 34, I have never done drugs or been a drunk, but even if I were I sure hope no one out there would dog me the way some of you are doing this family at their time of need.
