Well the question is why didnt this man want them to do autopsy on brittney? dont like to speculate buy this time I will I think that in the weeks to come the truth will be let out and drugs will have again taken a young star just like heath ledger. Or her mom will come forward and tell the story cause her mom was there so im sure she knows what was going on in that house. just a god damn shame she was only 32 so much to live for

Sympathy to her family, fans and friends. It appears, however, from the behavior and health problems of Brittany and her husband that there is/was substance abuse. Whether their relationship was codepedent or enabling is a moot point. There were many comtributing factors to her death. dfoster is likely correct - her debilitated condition (from whatever cause) combined with loss of fluids led to her sudden death. criminal e has personal issues he chooses to disguise as false and obscene comments about a deceased celebrity. Probably he has done this many times before and will never realize his true problems before his own demise. His post should be deleted.

In recent months she did not look well to me; first thing I thought was either drugs, or anorexia; both of which could cause a fatal heart attack. It is disturbing that her husband would not want an autopsy. If someone you love dies out of the blue like this, I would think you would want to know why. Something just seems fishy. I hope there are answers soon for those who are no doubt in deep shock and mourning over her death.

Maybe Simon doesn't want an autopsy simply because his wife was against her body being cut open! Maybe she had issues about being squeamish about such things and who would know her better than her husband? And it was Hollywood- producers/directors who has the ignorance and the odasity to tell actresses they have to be death defying skin and bones if they want the next acting job or else it goes to the 20 year old Twiggy look a like! BLAME THE RICH PRODUCERS AND DIRECTORS!
RIP Angel Brittany...God must have needed some exceptional beauty and humor to get through this Holiday season.

It's sad and like the other celebrity deaths, senseless. It seems the business of acting really does not communicate very well internally and no one is able to help those people who are in such obvious stress. There is no substitute for a good friend who can be objective and help those poor souls ground themselves when they lose their identity. I would say a good counseling service for celebrities is needed.

Brittany was a drug addict, anorexic Hollywood person that will go down in history just like Kurt, AM, Plato,Phoenix, Monroe, Farley and many more as chasing fame in Hollywood to hard trying to be something they are not and paying the ultimate price for it. The heart and muscle depend on nerve signals which come the way electricity does on power lines. How do people die of starvation or many other diseases of the third world? They lose their electrolyte balance (babies who die of diarrhea and vomiting, say, are another example), and literally have a blackout. A member of the Boston Ballet on her way to Disneyland with her family died of cardiac arrest in the family car. Afterwards, the ballet reviewed what they were demanding of their dancers for weight levels. They changed their emphasis from "waif" roles to more athletic types of dancing, in my opinion. The controversy died down at least for now. Whoever said this woman (with a history of being cast as the zaftig "best friend") had "waifed" herself down might have summed up the whole thing.

Anne, I think you are right, you can't abuse your body by being grossly overweight, or grossly underweight, and those who run Hollywood insist that the woman have bodies like 12 year old boys (which always makes me suspicious they prefer 12 year old boys). And altho Brittany seemed to be built rather slight, she still was way way underweight for her size/age...and that does take a toll on your organs, especially heart. If she was using any illegal drugs, makes it even worse. If she was using prescription drugs, they too, if her body was weak from years of constant severe dieting, can cause great harm. She probably was like Heath Ledger, just over did prescription drugs in some sort of abusive system.

from the news report monjack was in his pyjama pants staggering on the front lawn. if he was in his pyjama pants, he was obviously home at time of her death. why was it her mother that found her in the bathroom and not him? Not saying it was him but yes it is very suspious that he did not find her first and he doesnt want an autopsy. Also most medication if taken too much can lead to cardiac arrest.
