It started as a rumor.

And it nearly ended in a knockout.

Last night, at a restaurant in Spain, Orlando Bloom tried to punch Justin Bieber, presumably due to chatter about Bieber's relationship with Bloom's ex-wife, Miranda Kerr.

Did she simply find him cute? Did the model and the singer actually hook up? Based on Bieber's Instagram response, it certainly seems like the latter.

Bloom's roundhouse may have (unfortunately) missed Bieber's skull, but no matter. These two still deserve a spot in our rundown of the craziest celebrity fights in Hollywood history. Why?

Because ORLANDO BLOOM TRIED TO PUNCH JUSTIN BIEBER. It makes us giddy just to write those words...

Miranda Fugate, a.k.a. the Shovel Fight Girl, recently earned 15 minutes of fame after she got DROPPED with a thunderous blow to the head on Vine.

The sound of the shovel hitting the girl in the head alone will make you cringe, and conjures up memories of the Sharkeisha video that went viral last fall.

Shovel Girl GIF

The clip is actually from a longer, eight minute video of the fight between two girls - a 14-year-old shovel thrower and the 18-year-old target, Miranda Fugate.

"I'm deaf in one ear, I have a concussion, I have like blood behind my eardrum," Fugate tells World Star Hip Hop, while adding that she wants a rematch.

Once the assailant turns 18, that is. In the meantime, she says she wants to take on another infamous online bully: Sharkeisha. Yes, we're serious.

"I want to fight Sharkeisha so bad!" she says, proving that even victims of brutal assaults can't help but fuel the online culture that immortalizes them.

The rumored death of Sharkeisha, a Houston teen who punched and beat a classmate senseless in a video that went viral last month, was trending last night.

Not unlike allegations that Paul Walker faked his death, which also stemmed from bogus online sources, it appears to be a hoax. Sharkeisha is alive and well.

Or at least alive. She's not well in the head, clearly.

The Twitter account “Queen Sharkeisha,” claiming to be the infamous video attacker, alleged that she had been gunned down in a drive-by shooting.

The account posted a photo of a young woman in the hospital.

The photo used was not Sharkeisha, however, and was actually from an old New York Post article about a 42-year-old named Karen Brim (see below).

A comedy site, Huzlers (dot) com also posted the story about her being shot before the aforementioned Tweet. It's unclear if the two acts were coordinated.

In any case, the Twitter user claiming to be Sharkeisha wrote alongside the unrelated photo: “2 shots, 12 stitches and still breathing. THANK YOU LORD."

There was no actual media coverage of the incident, but the story spread, and the terms “RIP Sharkiesha” and “Prayforsharkeisha” began trending on Twitter.

Ever since the brutal Sharkeisha video hit the web, tens of millions of people have watched it, producing songs, memes, jokes, comment wars and Urban Dictionary entries.

Almost lost in this craziness, at least as far as many people are concerned, is the reality that a teenage girl was beaten and then shamed in front of an entire nation.

Not just by fellow teenagers, either. Grown men and women have joined in the taunting of ShaMichael Manuel, the victim of the the brutal Sharkeisha viral assault.

ShaMichael has since returned to school, having to face her peers for the first time since a classmate of hers became famous for viciously beating her.

Another classmate recorded it, and watched Sharkeisha deliver a punishing sucker punch, uppercuts and a kick to the face before pulling here away.

How does ShaMichael viewer her assailant and the online bullies now?

Asked by the Huffington Post what her message to Sharkeisha and those who watched the beating would be, the three words that came out of her mouth were stunning:

"I forgive you."

The video showing a Houston teen named Sharkeisha beating up another girl is still getting heavy play on social media and blogs over a week after it went viral.

Anti-bullying groups and others aren't pleased about that, either, particularly when it comes to people cheering on the girl and her vicious sucker punch.

The video was uploaded to Instagram last week before being removed due to terms of use violations. It has also been yanked from Twitter and Facebook.

Still, Sharkeisha remains a hot topic across the web, and the Anti-Bullying Alliance is condemning it, as well as the act of sharing violence online.

The group’s Luke Roberts told the International Business Times:

“It is important that young people, the media industry, government and parents work together to make young people feel protected when online."

Sharkeisha victim Sharmichael Manuel, the unsuspecting girl on the receiving end of the sucker punch heard 'round the Internet, is breaking her silence.

Manuel, 17, told KHOU-TV in Houston that she was set up to receive the savage beating on video, and was astounded when her former friend struck.

The video of Sharmichael getting laid out by Sharkeisha last month went viral on Instagram on Twitter, where it was removed for terms of use violations.

It remains online elsewhere, however, and the Cypress Creek High School (Tex.) senior is far from pleased about it, saying the notoreity adds insult to injury.

She says she was ambushed November 19 after being led to an apartment complex under false pretenses, believing she was picking up some belongings.

Instead she was straight up pummeled by Sharkeisha (below).

Sharkeisha. One name says it all after you've seen the viral video that has spread so quickly and caused so much controversy in the last 48 hours.

That is the name of the woman whose BRUTAL close-fisted, sneak attack sucker punch of an unsuspecting victim first surfaced on Instagram.

The beating has since been taken down from the social media site, but Sharkeisha's shark-like attack lives on, as all things do in the Internet Age.

You can watch it here, but be forewarned: It is extremely violent ...

Tuesday night, the video of Sharkeisha's personal knockout game amassed 20,000 "favorites" in a matter of minutes, which is when it was taken down.

The original video was only a few seconds long and depicted Sharkeisha walloping the victim, whose name appears to be Shay, but that's about it.
