Shakira has won numerous awards worldwide. These include: two Grammy Awards, eight Latin Grammy Awards among eighteen nominations, sixteen Billboard Music Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, a People's Choice Award and receiving a Golden Globe nomination.

This gorgeous singer is heavily involved with charity work. In 2006, she was honored at a United Nations ceremony for creating the Pies Descalzos Foundation.
