When we think of our neighbors to the North, we mostly think of beer, maple syrup, hockey, and more beer.

But Canada's contributions to the world of entertainment can't be ignored.

Justin Bieber
Bieber was born in London, Ontario. Many Americans wish he'd stayed there.

From truly talented comics like Seth Rogen and Jim Carrey to barely-tolerated hosers like Justin Bieber and...well, that's about it, Canada may not have any stars on its flag, but its got plenty among its people.

Some entries on this list may shock you (Quintessential California beach babe Pamela Anderson is a Canuck?!), while others make perfect sense. (Anyone as polite as Michael Cera must be Canadian!)

So while it may be cold, Canada has produced some stars that are truly hot - former couple Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are both from London Ontario - so check out the gallery above to see what stars pay for their Tim Horton's with toonies, eh?

North Korea denounced Seth Rogen and James Franco's upcoming film, The Interview, for a second time yesterday, threatening the U.S. over its release.

A statement released by North Korea's official news agency, KCNA, said The Interview was created by "gangster filmmakers" and should not be screened.

"The act of making and screening such a movie that portrays an attack on our top leadership is the most wanton act of terror and act of war, and is absolutely intolerable."

The film, which hits theaters in October, features Rogen and Franco as a talk show host duo hired to go undercover and assassinate Kim Jong Un.

Kim is played by actor Randall Park. The real Kim is not a fan of Rogen and Franco's movies, although he'll probably see the flick anyway if it's released.

Which it had better not be, the rogue state warns.

Kim Jong Un may heart Dennis Rodman and the NBA, but his U.S. cultural love doesn't extend to movies - at least not if James Franco and Seth Rogen are in them.

In their upcoming film The Interview, James and Seth play talk show hosts-turned-undercover agents tasked by the U.S. government with assassinating Kim.

They had us at James and Seth ... and the fact that North Korea is already decrying the movie doesn't exactly make us less inclined to support it.

Kim Myong-chol, a spokesman for the regime, said "There is a special irony in this storyline as it shows the desperation of the US government and society."

"A film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the U.S. has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine," adds the rep for North Korea.

"And let us not forget who killed [John F.] Kennedy - Americans. In fact, [Barack] Obama should be careful in case the U.S. military wants to kill him as well."

Well then. Moving on. Kim Myong-chol said Kim Jong Un favors British films, claiming that Hollywood movies are too "full of assassinations and executions."

Some were brought together by music, others by meth. One couple bonded over religion, two more over humor. One friendship started in Boston, another in the halls of a fictional hospital.

But the following famous bromances all have one thing in common, as sang by the very first pairing listed below:

Guy love, that’s all it is... Guy love, he’s mine I’m his... There’s nothing gay about it in our eyes... It’s guy love, between two guys.

Indeed, J.D. and Turk had it right a long time ago on Scrubs.

It's always fun when two male pals hit it off in Hollywood. Flip through the top 13 friendships of this nature below and sing it loud and proud: It's guy love!

Zach Braff and Donald Faison
It's guy love between Zach Braff and Donald Faison! These Scrubs stars have maintained a bromance many years after that beloved sitcom went off the air.

Seth Rogen is known for comedy, but he was clearly not joking around when he took to Twitter to address the astonishing remarks made by a Washington Post columnist which link the actor's films to the mentality of UCSB shooter Elliot Rodger.

Seth Rogen at MTV Movie Awards

When Rogen blasts Justin Bieber, he makes with the laughs, but he adopted an appropriately serious tone to respond to Ann Hornaday's op-ed piece blaming films made by Rogen and Judd Apatow for inspiring Friday night's shooting that killed six and injured thirteen.

Hornaday refers to the movies of Rogen and Apatow as "escapist fantasies" that "revolve around vigilantism and sexual wish-fulfillment" and cause young men such as Rodger to equate sex with violence.

The film critic specifically calls out Rogen's recent comedy Neighbors for making men Rodger's age "feel shut out of college life that should be full of 'sex and fun and pleasure.'"

Needless to say, Rogen was not pleased to find his name mentioned in connection with the tragic shooting:

Famed stoners Seth Rogen and Snoop Dogg have more in common then their shared love of the ganja.

Apparently, they hold similar views on HBO's Game of Thrones (Awesome!) as well as on forced castration (Not so awesome!).

How do we know? Well, Seth and Snoop won the Internet this week with a Game of Thrones recap that must be seen to be believed:

Yes, you may have read all the books and seen every episode twice, but you can't really understand GoT until Snoop explains it to you while high as a blunted kite.

It can be hard to keep track of the show's countless characters and subplots (especially when you're stoned), so Snoop helpfully answers all the big questions:

There are some very unexpected celebrity lookalikes in the world, but we didn't think it was possible that Miley Cyrus' knee would ever bring to mind hirsute funny man Seth Rogen.

After an eagle-eyed fan pointed out that Miley's knee cap looks like Rogen's face, the singer apparently agreed and was so flattered that she re-tweeted the observation.

"Apparently my knee is my #MCM @SethRogen evil twin," Miley tweeted.

While some might not be flattered by having their face compared to a lump of bone and cartilage, Seth was able to appreciate the humor in the situation:

Justin Bieber has taken the high road in his feud with Seth Rogen.

For the most part.

Following yet ANOTHER instance of Rogen laying into the singer - the actor wondered aloud on Today this week, Who Likes Justin Bieber?!? - Bieber took to Twitter this morning and replied for the first time to the actor's insults.

Justin Bieber and His Cars

"Seth Rogan, sorry I didnt bow down when I asked 2 meet u," Bieber wrote, misspelling his enemy's last name. "Was probably a bit shy and didn't want to be over the top but still. love ur movies."

Seth Rogen is back to slamming Justin Bieber.

But the actor is doing so this time more out of consternation that actual anger.

Over the past several weeks, Rogen has referred to Bieber as a piece of sh-t... as obnoxious and insincere... and as a motherf-cker.

So, in an interview with Matt Lauer on Today, the actor was asked why he continues to trash the 19-year old artist.

Rogen laughed and said it's only because he keeps getting asked about Bieber, adding "the idea that a grown man does not like Justin Bieber is not a controversial thought. It would be much weirder if I did like Justin Bieber."

Well, this is one way to promote a movie.

With The Neighbors coming out this Friday, Zac Efron and Seth Rogen appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night.

At least we think it was Zac Efron and Seth Rogen.

The cross-dressers who appear in the following episode of "Ew!" with the talk show host sure do look like those male stars, don't they?

Rogen ripped Justin Bieber earlier in the week, while Efron opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about his stint in rehab.
