Scott Stapp and his wife Jaclyn welcomed a son named Daniel at 3:01 p.m. on Sunday, July 4, the Creed frontman has announced via Twitter.

“It is such a true blessing to be a father and husband,” Stapp said. “Once again, I am reminded of how deeply I love, how deeply I respect, how deeply I admire and how deeply I appreciate my best friend, my only love, my wife - Jaclyn.”

Sweet.

Scott and Jaclyn Nesheiwat Stapp earlier this year.

Daniel Issam Stapp is the little guy's full name. The couple are also parents to daughter Milán Hayat, who is 3, and son Jagger, 11.

The Stapps announced the pregnancy in December, sharing the sex of the baby and the name they had chosen back in February.

Congratulations to the whole family!

Creed lead singer Scott Stapp and his wife, Jaclyn, are expecting their second child together next July, the singer's rep confirmed this morning.

"When Jaclyn told me we were having another baby, I was overwhelmed with joy and again reminded what this life is for," Scott Stapp told Us.

Brad, Angelina and Six Kids!

"We are so thankful for God's blessings."

The two, who married in February 2006, have a daughter, Milan, 2. The rock musician also has a son, Jagger, 11, from a previous relationship.

We're just glad to hear they've gotten past the incident where Scott supposedly assaulted Jaclyn with an Orangina bottle. What a d!ck move.

This past October, Stapp and his Christian band released their first album in eight years, Full Circle. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

Congratulations to Scott and Jaclyn Stapp!

Scott Stapp's wife, Jaclyn Nesheiwat, claims that she was "in fear for her life" when the rocker flung a glass bottle of Orangina at her face during an alleged incident Sunday morning.

Jaclyn Nesheiwat Stapp, claims she called 911 after Scott stumbled into their mansion around 8:00 AM and got "very angry" when asked if he was "using drugs."

Jaclyn Nesheiwat Stapp told police that Scott Stapp began yelling at her to "leave him alone," before he grabbed an Orangina bottle and launched it at her face, nearly hitting her.

When cops arrived, they found the shattered bottle ... and several handguns locked in a safe. According to the report, "Scott was very cooperative" about handing over the firearms, which were immediately confiscated.

One of the responding officers claims that Stapp did admit to throwing the bottle, but the former Creed frontman also said that "Jaclyn was no where in the area."

That's what Naomi Campbell said when she hurled a phone at her assistant. Come on, Scott. There's no point in lying.

Stapp was busted on suspicion of domestic assault with intent to commit a felony. However, as the Executive Editor of our celebrity gossip department notes, if he were a real hardass, he would have made her drink the Orangina instead - that $h!t is horrible.

Orangina is also four letters away from vagina. Just saying.

After spending a night behind bars, a judge lowered the original booking charge to a misdemeanor. The case is in the hands of the State Attorney, who has 30 days to charge the rock star or reject the case.

According to several published reports, Jaclyn Nesheiwat has dealt with Stapp's demons before. The lame singer was arrested at LAX in 2006 for being publicly intoxicated while waiting to board a plane to Hawaii - for their honeymoon - but no charges were filed.

Britney Spears is probably feeling better about her own airplane theatrics about now... at least she wasn't drunk. On her way to her honeymoon. Though she may have been at one point.

Jaclyn Nesheiwat was Miss New York 2004, but lost out in the Miss USA 2004 pageant to the lovely Shandi Finnessey, who went on to compete on Dancing with the Stars this season.

We've always been adamant that Scott Stapp sucks.

However, until today, that sentiment was due solely to Creed's overexposed and painfully average blend of alternative and Christian rock.

Today, though, Scott Stapp has proven himself to be a hypocrite (and possibly a felon), on top of an overrated singer and rock frontman.

Stapp, the former lead singer of Creed, was arrested in Boca Raton, Fla., last night on suspicion of domestic assault - with intent to commit a felony.

Stapp spent the night behind bars in a Palm Beach County jail and is scheduled to appear in court this morning, where a judge will set bond.

At this point, no victim has been identified.

We call ourselves The Hollywood Gossip, but South Florida is apparently the new epicenter of celebrity crime. Palm Beach is the county north of Broward County, where Anna Nicole Smith was found dead.

If you need further proof that this man is a total ass clown, just look at him smugly smiling during his mug shot. This is one of the worst ones we have seen - and we've seen plenty of celebrity mug shots.

Apparently, Mr. Holier-Than-Thou Christian hard rocker believes Jesus wants him to beat people up. Way to go, Scott Stapp. No one's perfect among us, but you don't see The Game claiming to be a model citizen.

Or Britney Spears claiming to be a great parent, for that matter.
